Remarks
I had applied for top Engineering Colleges in West Bengal. I didn't opt for any other college as that were too far from my residence. The admission can be done through WBJEE and JEE(Mains) as well as Management Quota.
Course Curriculum Overview
The reasons to choose this course is quite specific as it involves the depth of Computer Architecture which can help during placement in Tech or Non-Tech companies. The faculties are well mannered but they just before completing the syllabus. We have 2 Internal Exams per semester which involves the knowledge based on class notes.
Internships Opportunities
The college does not provide internships. You need to do it on your own. Internshala, Angelist are the platforms that help in getting internships. I did my internship at Vyorius which deals with the latest IoT technologies in the Industry.
Placement Experience
The students can sit for placements from the 7th Semester/4th year. Big tech companies hire students for IT job profiles. The placement record stands at 94%. The highest package is 8Lakh/p.a. and the average is 3.8Lakh/p.a.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are not much as compared to other top notch colleges in India. The placement scenario is good. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, TCS, CTS, Mindtree, Mphasis, Wipro visit for placement. Opportunities are too much for a bright future ahead.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is good. We have a big canteen where I spend most of my time eating and writing notes. We have a big playground where we can play Cricket, Football. Every year there's an annual fest called Arcadia in which Tech Quiz, Robotics and many competitions are held.
