Remarks
The admission is done based on eligibility criteria like all other universities. Being the top university of Dehradun it has a cutthroat competition and requires at least 60% marks in both 10th and 12th. After this, the college conducts a group discussion and personal interview. Depending on the ranks, one is allotted a seat and the admission process was quite tedious.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is the no. 1 private institute in Uttarakhand and ranked amongst the top 15 B Schools in North India. Plus, the course offers unmatched global opportunities. It also has academic collaboration with IATA for aviation management. Moreover, it has excellent faculty and a very thorough and comprehensive course curriculum therefore I chose this course and college.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like TATA, Birla Group of industries, etc. offered management related roles with a stipend of 30,000 and I was given company projects, where I faced difficulties and I sought help from my seniors and my coordinator, where they helped me overcome my difficulties.
Placement Experience
The college has industry alliances with Aerotech, BSE, IBM, TATA Power, HPCL and many more. It has a record of 99% placement as well. In my batch, I can't think of anybody who walked into grabbing a placement and didn't succeed in securing a seat. Good packages were provided despite the ongoing covid situation and everybody was highly satisfied with wherever they landed.
Fees and Financial Aid
BBA is a professional course and hence the fees are quite high but it pays back as there are a lot of opportunities after having completed the course. The three year course has a fee of 8,41,500. There are multiple scholarships wherein 50% is waived off straight up if one performs well enough, to add upon that 20% scholarship is provided for girl students. There may be other scholarships as well. I am not very sure but I guess there are no provisions for concessions here so only that candidate should apply who believes he will be able to pay off such high fees.
Campus Life
It is one of the best universities in north India and accredited with a NAAC grade of A. It has a very good and top class infrastructure, faculties with excellent academics and experience. It has an excellent placement record, a laboratory with up to date equipment and industry standard tools, library with a large volume of books and periodicals. There is online access to referred journals and books. Good environment for academics as well as extracurricular development of the students through technical and cultural activities.
Interview Experience
The group discussion was based on demonetisation and the student who was more attentive and was giving answers quickly was being monitored and marked. I did my BBA coaching from Career Launcher where I was prepared for group discussion where various topics were discussed for our preparation.
