Remarks

I choose this institute mainly because of the two reason. Firstly, FMS Delhi has a great active network of more than 6000 to 7000 alumni in the industry. Secondly, the institute has a great return in terms of investment. These are the two factors for which i choose this institute for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

FMS Delhi conducts two exams- one is internal amd the other is final exam. The marks distribution for the both the exam is 30% marks are there for internal exam and 70% marks are there for final exam. If we talk about faculty, FMS Delhi has 20- 25 years of experienced faculty. There was no new comers. All teachers are very humble and helpful. Though the teaching was online but interactive. FMS Delhi has around 15 to 17 teaching faculty whereas the total students is around 270.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, we opted for summer internship. These summer internship are lit bit hectic for us.

Placement Experience

The final placement was held at the end of January. The details of the salary packages are given on the official website of the institute. A lot of companies visit the institute for campus recruitment. Some of the top companies that visit for campus interview are Microsoft, Amazon, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for FMS Delhi is very less. My total tution fees for the four semester course is around 1,92,000. The hostel fees and the accomodation charges is not included in the tuition fees. I didnot apply for an financial assistance as the fees structure is not high and it can be manageable.

Campus Life

Though there is no physical interaction with the classmates but we interact with each other through online mode i.e Zoom call. Google Meets, etc. There are clibs and committes who organizes many events. Apart from that Agamya Club is there who oraganizes many fun events for students through online.

Admission

No, i didnot face any Group Discussion, Interview for admission in the institute. When i got admission in this institute, that time Group Discussion was omitted. It will be continued from the next year batch.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
