Remarks
I Chose this College because of placement statistics (100 % placement). College is having great infrastructure and many sports facilities including swimming. Though, this College is having two branches only ( IT and ECE ). So, batch size is small it promotes higher interaction but during fest prepartion and on D day It might not feel a crowded location. After current changes in curriculum structure, one has to work hard whole semester to get decent grades( due to continuous evaluation). Alumni base is very strong. One can learn designing, development, competitive coding and get the decent internship and jobs respective to their choices.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum has Changed recently. Previously there were only mid semester and end semester exams. Now, one has to work hard whole semester to get decent graders ( due to continuous evaluation ). Continuous evaluation means test/assignment will be weekly or biweekly in tutorial classes and this will contribute in final grades. Hence, one need not to worry to do the best in final exams If he/she has already done great whole semester. Since, India have many software engineer jobs and IT course will train you in relevant fields to get a desired job. Student ratio is around 1: 5 ( girls: boys). Some facilities are highly qualified and will promote you to do research in future.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, I opted for internship in software engineering domain. Mostly internship are available for software engineer. Data scientist, analyst roles are also offered by companies. Opportunities for internships are great.
Placement Experience
Almost everyone gets placement here if he is little sincere about their career. Min package offered is 5 lac and max package is 51 lac. Average package is around 20 lac. Median package is around 15 lac.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Semester fee is around 60k.Mess fee/ semester is around 12k. That's it.Scholarships:If one is from UP, can get UP government scholarship ( refund amount - 60k/ year)Central government scholarshipSemester based performance scholarship by college.TAship is provided to Mtech students who have qualified GATE exam. So, they receive 12k/ month stipend from central government.
Campus Life
Social life is good. There is a cultural fest ( Effervescence) in month of September-October every year. There is a sports fest in month February and a technical fest ( Aparoksha ). There is common library. One can issue books from portal and study whole semester. Classrooms are high tech. There are many social and technical clubs. One can join clubs according to their interest.
Admission
Clear JEE Mains exam with good rank under 5k. That's it. There is no interview, group discussion.Prepare 12th standard subjects physics, chemistry, maths and practice previous years JEE mains questions.
