Because after PU chandigarh there was only one good university with good placement opportunity like the big MNC were offering good ctc like tcs with 7Lpa, amdocs with 5 lpa, jaro with 12 lpa and many more in the range between 4 to 7 lpa. So, computer engineer always looks for the placement opportunity from college thats what i looked in gndu, but after all that i got two offers from college but at last i gave interview offcampus and selected and joined sopra banking software.
Course Curriculum Overview
The subjects in the cse is normally same as in other colleges but they introduced python in 2nd sem. Which is great step as demand for python is increasing day by day, and faculties are also very friendly. So overall you feel good here in academic
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities always plays a very big role in deciding your college. If you are expecting arround 5 lpa, then this place is ready you provide you a lot opprtunities but there are limited mnc which comes with like dream package of above 8 lpa.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Yes there are oppotunity for low income scholarship and sc catgory scholarship and many more others like one of my friend got sports scholarship and was living also in sports hostel which is normally different from normal hostel.
Campus Life
I can't describe in words how it feels to be a part of gndu, and specially the hostel experience just igonore mess food. We got very comfortable library here with air conditioning, also study rooms in hostel, and labs like the camous property is really very good rest depends on the friends you make in your first year.
