Remarks

The biggest reason would be written on investments so basically fewer fees. And I have stated ideas of my own, I didn't want to have a loan burden on myself after graduate. so, this was the main reason why I choose this college over any other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

There are about 8 courses in 1 semester and there are regular quizzes, assignments just to assess a student's internal marks. And finally, there is an end-term examination which is held & continuing evaluation is done. There are few professors who are conducting research in statistics, data science in this domain. They have partnered with various universities foreign & national also. They are conducting these researches in collaboration with these universities. Most of the faculties are very wonderful in FMS. They have good educational knowledge. They have good content and they are good at teaching. But due to the covid & online situations, there is a lack between learning & the teaching process but the faculties are very good.

Internships Opportunities

5

In the summer placement, the highest stipend was 1.67 per month and it was offered by L'OREAL. Most of the students preferred the marketing domain and the highest numbers of offers were recorded in that domain itself. But the maximum number of offers were offered by Amazon. It offers around 25 roles.

Placement Experience

5

FMS recently recorded 100% placement and the top recruiters were ABG, Accenture, Bain. So, most of the offers were offered in the consulting domain and general management domain. And a lot of high packages jobs were offered.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are various scholarships that have been ported by the Delhi University Administration Department. And the fees for 1 semester are around 47,000 excluding the examination fees which are around 1700 rupees. So, the total fee for the 2 years would be around 2 lakh rupees and the MSA fee is must also be added to be in total. The MSA fee is charged around 30,000. So, the total fee would be 2,30000 for the whole course.

Campus Life

2.5

Yes, I've been to the FMS building. I have seen it from outside and I've been there only 1 month. There is definitely a lot less emphasis on interaction because it is not possible. It is not very easy to make people interact on online video. So, there is definitely a lack and the whole FMS Department has been trying their best in order to ensure that there is proper interaction among the students.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

No, I have not to avail any hostel facilities and I do not planned to. Most students stayed near the college campus itself. So, they opt for flats, they opt for the PGs and they stayed in independent.

Admission

Basically, because of the covid situation, the process got delayed a little but it happened in the month of June and there was no interview or GDPI process that was held this year. So, students were shortlisted only on the basis of marks. They got in CAT examination and then they were called for the admission process. And minimal application fee was there. Post that formal process began and small induction were CAP. So, that the whole process and it finished in the month of June itself. In the July month meetings, seminars were held. I was selected in the month of June. I was selected in the first list itself.I appeared for 2 other colleges: IIM Kozhikode & IIM Kolkata. I was selected on both of the MBA institutes. The interview process at IIM Kozhikode was pretty rigorous. It was mostly the world around politics and what is your opinion about something that helps me in the felt that you need to have a proper opinion about a topic. My interview at IIM Kolkata was pretty straight forward. They didn't ask me technical questions.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
