The college is highly ranked in MU so I applied for SFIT. The admission process was simple and didn't take much time. The MHT-CET score was the shortlisting criteria for admission in which I scored 63 marks and a minimum of 60% in HSC is required to gain admission in the engineering seat.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BE in Mechanical engineering because I was attracted to the field. In a particular department, there are nearly 10-15 faculty members and each class has a minimum of 60 students. The faculty are highly qualified and many of them have done their Ph.D.s. The exams were conducted timely and the exam difficulty was adequate.
Fees and Financial Aid
The current fees for my program are roughly 1,08,000 and every year the fees are hiked for new admittance to the college. I did not avail myself of any scholarship or attained any financial assistance. I did not completely graduate and still waiting to complete my graduation to apply for a job.
Campus Life
The college annual tech fest is IRIS and it is conducted in January and the other fest is MOSAIC and conducted in September. The reference books and journals of all the subjects taught in the college are available in the library. The classroom is well equipped with a bench, desks, fan, lights, boards, and a communication board. Each department has its own Committee for e.g MESA for the Mechanical department.
