Remarks
I only applied for Delhi university and got admission in the same. There was no quota through which i applied. It was,erit based. There were different cut-offs that came out in DU and i got admission in Shaheed bhata sing college in the third cutoff. The admission process in the college was very smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Delhi University was the top pick and luckily i got admission in the same. All the faculty members were really helpful and helped us beyond the lecture time as well. The faculty-student ratio was around 1:60. The question paper was prepared by the central committee and it included questions for all the topics which tested the textbook and practical knowledge of the student.
Internships Opportunities
There was a seperate society through which an internship fair named encode was held every year in the campus. There were around 60 companies that came to the fair and gave students the internship with the average stipend being 4k per month.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester, students were allowed to sit for campus placements. Deloitte, KPMG, E&Y and Wipro were the top recruiters and approximately 200 students were placed. The average package was 3.5lakhs and highest was 18lakhs per annum. I joined Deloitte USI after my graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no fees hike during my college years. No scholorship was provided as the fees were the bare minimum itself. During campus placement, I was employed by Deloitte and starting package was 4.5lakhs per annum.
Campus Life
Uddayam was the annual fest organized by the commerce association which i was a part of. All the books were availaible in the library. There was a large playground to play basketball, cricket and football. Also, there was a dedicated area for the indoor sports as well.
