A good in college in the Nagpur city

I have applied for this college through cap round. Then according to my MHCET scored I got allotted for electronics and telecommunication engineering. After that, we need to fill the admission form and a bit of the amount to confirm our admission.

The course curriculum is slightly different and updated from the other universities and engineering colleges. Till our batch, it was the same as the other but soon after our batch curriculum got changed and focused on the new technologies. The majority of the faculty are PHD holders. Many of the faculties have industrial knowledge as well. Some faculties are very goods in teaching as well as friendly in nature. The exams are timely conducted with proper management. Exams are not that tough to clear but not that easy to score. Overall the curriculum is good.

At the time of our batch, it becomes difficult for us to find the internship which is offline due to covid. College provides some offline internships but bcoz of covid college is also not able to provide more internships this time.

From the end of the 6th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. More than 20 IT companies like Capgemini, TCS, Accenture, cybage, Tech Mahindra, etc visit the college every year. The average package ranges from 4-5 lakhs per annum. The highest package goes beyond 8-10 lakhs. The lowest is 3.5 lakhs which is decent for the freshers. The majority of the students have more than 2 offers. Students opting for higher studies also get base from this college

The fees for the general category is near 1 lakhs and it will remain the same for all years till graduation with a fluctuation of 5-10 thousand up and down. Maharashtra government scholarship is provided to the students belonging to backward classes. For SC and ST they have to pay only 10-20 thousand fees per year. For NT it is near about 20-25 k and for obc it is 56k. Another scholarship is provided i.e. EBC for general category students with low income. Jobs are guaranteed in this college. Our college provides one additional scholarship to only needy students every year. The name of the scholarship is jaswantiben Parekh scholarship. There are some criteria to apply for this scholarship. If you fit into that criteria then only you can apply for this scholarship.

Life at campus is of so much fun. There are various fest that occurs in college. The major annual fest is TECHNOTSAV which is conducted in the month of February. Some famous bands visits the college in this fest. Technical forum activities takes place in the month of September and October. Small other activities are conducted by different departments throughout the year like blood donation camps, some technical webinars and workshops also. Lumino is the third famous fest which is tech fest conducted by electronics, electrical and cse department. When it comes to library ample of books are available. It ranges from local author to foreign author. Classrooms are well maintained with proper seating. Not the high class classroom but it is decent. Two big grounds are there in college to play sports but the college should focus on more sports activities. Sometimes faculty takes lectures in sports class also. There are various committees like SRC, Rotaract, IEEE and many more dept committees.
