Remarks
I had applied for KJ Somaiya engineering college, Terna college, RAIT, and VIT. Other colleges cut off being higher than my marks, didn't get selected in those colleges. For admission to VIT required minimum marks were 130. The admission process went smoothly, I had to come to college for the initial fee payment and submitting the necessary documents.
Course Curriculum Overview
Reason to choose computer engineering as computers are everywhere and it's an ever-growing and financially rewarding industry. All of the faculties at VIT are very well qualified and some of them even hold Ph.D. Term exams happen every six months.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are beneficial since they help build professional skills, strengthen personal character and open more doors to opportunities. Research I, Social Media Intern, Marketing/PR intern, Digital Marketing intern are some of the positions offered by the companies.
Placement Experience
You are eligible for placemen your final year i.e from the 7th semester. Many top companies visit VIT for campus placement. TCS, JIO, Capgemini, Wipro, Goldman Sachs, LTI are some of them. Many students opt for higher studies after completing their degrees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year the fees are almost the same. there is not much of a hike in fees. Government-provided scholarships are available for eligible students. Many top companies visit VIT for campus placements. VIT also provides students with an in-house internship program and many value-added courses.
Campus Life
Annual Fest "Verve" happens every year in the month of February. VIT has a cultural committee, Hobby club committee, Student Council, Photography Team. We also have Technical Student chapters who organize workshops and seminars for the students.
