Remarks

I applied to many other colleges. But at last, I was admitted to piet college Panipat, due to its affordable fees. and this college is one of the best colleges around me I would like to say that this was the right choice for me. I didn't choose other ones as they were too costly for me and I opted for piet Panipat. Yes, I opted OBC category quota for fees concession. There are no minimum age criteria for joining the college, as for joining to a college we need to pass class 12th and few colleges only follow jee mains and jee advanced result and ranking. The admission process was very easy compared to some colleges whose admission process is so much confusing for a student's mind. I got admission to the college on the basis of my jee mains score. I concession in my admission fees is given to me as I used my OBC category quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have chosen the b.tech (CS) as it was my dream to become a computer engineer and I can't afford too much fees for my this course so I selected this college as it is offering on affordable fees with the best counseling and all. The faculty inside the college is the best and is too much hard-working and cooperative in nature. They understand students problems support them fully in their needs. Approx. 300+ teaching staff is available there for teaching. The teaching faculties in college are well-educated and hardworking. The college exam scenario is too much good. Here periodic and semester-wise exams were taken regularly. Exams were of moderate level but sometimes to check our better knowledge they make the exam paper difficult as compare to other time. Periodic tests were conducted in a fixed period of time i.e. after every1.5 months and semester-wise exams were taken at end of every semester.

Internships Opportunities

4

In college, some of the private companies offered us internships. many of our college students opted for these internships for experience and knowledge purposes and also to get stipends. but the stipend offered by them is not much enough for them. But I think it's their choice to give any amount. We have done many group projects as well as one individual project also separately. With the guidelines of our encouraging professor, we completed our project and got full marks after submission. We got much appreciation from the professors.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the end of the 6th-semester students became eligible for campus placements and start to prepare for their joining also as some companies started to visit there for selecting the students for their companies. Many big as well as small companies had visited there. But only those students got placements that have some extra skills and who passed their testing criteria and interview taken by them. In the campus placements, I think the average package was around 4.8 lac that year. And around only 45percent of students got placement that year from the campus and also outside the campus. Few students opted for their further studies to get more packages at all. As I opted for further studies I first got the degree from piet and after that, I completed PG after that I joined a reputed company on my study basis.

Fees and Financial Aid

My approximate fees for my batch were 3.5 -4 lacs (for 4 years) on that year which I joined. I paid my fees semester-wise. I think this fess was not too much high as compare to some other private colleges. I got some concession in my overall fees during my 4 years. As well as I got an academic scholarship during my second year in the college as I gave a scholarship exam arranged inside our campus for economically weaker students. Many more scholarships were also provided by the authority to the students to help them financially. Financial assistance was also provided by the managing staff and management. Some students were also got part-time jobs inside the campus and also got a little stipend, which is used by them as pocket money.

Campus Life

4.5

When I talk about our annual fests and curricular programs which take place in our college I became very happy to explain them. As annually some cultural programs were organized there and I also joined them. The library inside the college was quite big and I contain approximately all kinds of study needed by us in the college but wherever there was shortage any book then the librarian tried to arrange them as soon as possible. The lecture hall was also big and neat and clean. Sports activities also taken place regularly I am also involved in all kinds of physical activities offered for us. We played approx. all the outdoor and indoor games available at that time to us. Many of our classmates made some private groups for our study purpose and a few clubs were also made for extracurricular activity and many more activities and quizzes organized that time.

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
