I have only applied for jadavpur. Availed the quota of sc. The admission was on the basis of wbjee rank. And it was the next step after counseling in wbjee. They have seen our every detail and charge a fee of 720 for the coming two years. There was no difficulty at all.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have an interest in chemistry so I have chosen this course. Though later I have come to know that this course doesn't contain much chemistry. Faculties are very helpful as well as talented. Most of them are passouts of well-known iits. The term exams take place at about 5 to 6 months intervals. If you study whatever the faculty taught in the class then there is no difficulty to pass the exam
Internships Opportunities
Most of the companies which come for full-time employment also provide interns. With proper tests and interviews. Also, they provide a good stipend. Also inside the campus, there is a chance to attach with any researcher to gain experience of any project. This internship helps a lot in the final year placement.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year they provide opportunities for interns and in the final year, they provide placements. The placement tries hard to place all the students in the final year. Many companies come to our campus many MNCs also like amazon, google, Honeywell, etc, and many more. The highest package is about 30 lpa and the average is like 10 lpa. Well, I will try for the job and if it doesn't go in my favor will try for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well, the fees are not much rather it's too low here. With various scholarships available. Students with a poor background can avail freeship which means there will be no fee for them. Till now no fees hike is there. It provides most of the scholarship. Also, help the students to get placed
Campus Life
Well, college life is very cool. All the seniors are very helpful. Many fests take place throughout the year. The library is too good each department has their own library with immense of books. Also, there is a central library also an e-library has been generated. The classrooms are very good and comfortable. There are various clubs here like mountaineering, chess, science and many more.
