Firstly you have to fill the form of the college on the basis of your JEE mains score. NFSC is a very new college which has just started the B.E course in 2015 so very few people know about this. After the form being filled you will be called for personal interview and physical test if you get selected for this round depending on your JEE scores (for general:: more than 88 percentile,for obc :: more than 84, for sc and st :: more than 70 percentile).In the physical and personal interview round your blood pressure,mental state ,eye sight,chest ,knock knee, flat foot and harnia will be checked. If everything ok and the documents are correct you will surely get a call letter .NOTE : you have to physically visit the college for all these processes.!! So be prepared for journey to Nagpur.Seats are there for reserved category candidates. It will be nice if you provide documents verified in last 6 months like income certificate .min height (boy:165 cm, girl:156 cm)

I chose this course because:B.E FIRE is a unique course.NFSC is the only central government fire engineering institute in whole Asia with advanced labs, faculty, research teams and operations.It is no doubt an equivalent to iit with only one course (fire ).8th sem :industrial training. students get placed to PSUs likeONGC,GAIL, SAIL,IOCL,AAI,etc without giving gate exam. we can go to state and central government services too .Fire service and safety has a major demanding market in upcoming years. College placement is 95 - 100 percent. All the faculty are PhD holders and professional.there is physical training,drill and foreground operation also present. Teaching is done through virtual and physical both modes. Exams this year were delayed because of covid -19 but the college covered it up all till the end of year on proper time and classes were also quality rich . Second semester exams are a little tough than first sem .third sem is called the most difficult of all eight semesters.

In last semester 6 months industrial training in CIDCO MUMBAI or DFS DELHI, Also you can apply for internship in drdo labs ,etc. In few private companies also you can pursue your internships. In Some places you get ICMS and simulation method to learn and practice .

The placement are far way better than any other engineering colleges .you may get into PSUs here without GATE. private sector like reliance ,Tata are also there. Students may go for the state government jobs in fire services too . Defence sector also needs fire engineers. Airport Authority of India provides many vacancies. 100 percent students get placed after incampus and offcampus placements. Offcampus placements are also good like going to foreign or working with private construction companies and any industry with fire hazards. You may also go for civil services or UPSC or state PSC. In this profession experience increases your valuation .Highest package this year was 22 lakh of some students in IOCL and GAIL. Min package is 8-10 lakh and Average package is 12 to 15 lakh . Companies like ONGC, GAIL ,SAIL ,IOCL ,Reliance etc visited. Majorly oil and gas companies visit. Some state government jobs also offered. BSF ,AAI(Airport Authority of India) and some more groups visited.

The course fee is 24000 rupees a year. The hostel fee is 18000 rupees a year. Mess (one of the best ) fee is 100 rupee per day ( variable). Students may apply for ONGC scholarship, HDFC scholarship, National scholarship and state scholarship,the college staff is very helpful and active to complete required procedures and guide you. Compared to other engineering colleges the fees is very less here.

For students there is Rotaract club ,NFSC NAGPUR. It is an international club. Students also run websites like Firewaale:: https://www.firewaale.com/ , FIREDUCARE, etc. There are social media groups like on instagram: Firewaale, Fireducare, Rotaract club NFSC, NFSCIANS , fireresponders ,etc. The library of nfsc is very advance and have more than 15000 books along with continuous support of world famous journals . Annually firefest is organised in the winters but I could not see any such fest because of corona conditions and also international fire games are there. The seniors always support the juniors and provide material and mentoring regularly but there is strict discipline too!!!. There is no egging in college ,it's only ragda which makes you tagda.

Staying in hostel is must! Hostel is inside the campus and no other registration required ,just pay the fee and check in .only students allowed to enter and seperate hostels for boys and girls. Strict discipline to be followed and always be ready for the roll call (24*7) . In the hostel rooms are cleaned and sanitzed on daily basis. Toilet and bathroom are also clean and large in number. The mess is one of the best with a wide variety in menu in a very low cost. you get nonveg , panir and eggs . Rajma,daal , rise, chapati ,achaar, ???? salad, rayta etc in dinner and lunch . In breakfast bread jam, idli sambhar ,uppam And tea. In snacks in evening you get tea ,samosa ,cutlet, bread pakoda, bhel etc.

There was personal interview as mental test during physical round ,the doctor just normally talks to you and asks some questions related to you like your city, hobby ,school, father, family etc. I would suggest to stay calm it's all normal they are just checking whether you are calm or panic up in a while. In the eye checup you have to read ISIHARA CHART.
