So far so good

As I mentioned my title " so far so good" Its been a journey of mixed bags of emotion Still 6 months more to go and am hoping for a perfect end with a great result in upcoming exams.

Basically there are 3 ways you can get into this institution 1. WBJEE: if you are residing in Bengal and have qualified WBJEE then you are eligible to get in2. JEE ( Mains) : Through which I got in, specifically 4 seats are there each year for JEE entry 3. JELET: If you are pursuing your diploma in Pharmacy then after completion your course you can take a lateral entry.

I am a research aspirant to be honest, it doesnt depend on your institution it totally reflects your mindset But I would like to pay my due respect to all my faculties especially Pharmaceutical Chemistry faculties who encouraged each and every students for research and development.

Yes, we have a enthusiast bunch of faculties and admin who are keen to place all students for internships I have already done 2 internship One from Stadmed and another from Apollo Glean eagles Yes you can get a paid internship also if you are smart enough to grab.

Our college gives placement mainly of Medical Marketing apart from that QA/QC and pharma co vigilance recruiting companies also visit Last year the highest package was drawn by a candidate from GSK of 3. 89 lakh P. A and Avg. salary is around 2-3. 5 lakh P. A.

We have a good reputation when it comes to fest Pele has visited our fest last year and of course it was nation's head line comm is our fest name which we celebrate every year in mid of may This fest is merely organised by Media students of our college. We pharmacy students basically enjoys our heart out.

Bit expensive We have to pay around 40k per semester and we are paying around 3. 28 lakh for entire course. We generally have to pay in December once and then again in June'Apart from this we have to pay 1000 rs extra for semester exam fees but personally my major expenditure is on xeroxing the notes.

Yes we have ASHA JYOTI SCHOLARSHIP Scholarship are provided on basis of merit and under privileged students are proffered.

I personally remark it as excellent Every alternate we are engaged with various extracurricular activities. Few days back we celebrated National Pharmacy Week and that was huge success. Apart from pharmacy study we are also involved in sports and its big event in our college And I am not patting the back of myself but yeas pharmacy dept. are top in every sports aspect as well as studies.

This is one of the major drawback of our college Very poor food quality and many students are leaving the hostel for this reason only They serve good cuisine but the cooking quality is very poor One of my close friend had stayed in hostel for initially 3 months but left hostel thereafter because of the food standard and it also cause him serious food toxicity.

I feel so proud that we have a great alumni Each and every ex students are doing well in their life Some are pursuing studies in abroad or any premier college in our country and some are doing exceptionally well in their job every year we have alumni meet where we chill out with our seniors.

We generally have to face 2 internals and a semester exam in each semester Each internals is of 30 marks and semester is of 70 marks and you get your marks in terms of CGPA generally anything above 8. 5 is considered as good CGPA Apart from all these you have to give practical exams and Viva and dont forget there is a separate marks for attendance.

I can proudly claim that this college is one of the best pharmacy college in West Bengal Apart from its best infrastructure in the state it has some good quality of faculties We have 4 professors all are of Pharmaceutics 4 associate professor and remaining are assistant professor, they are also pursuing they Phd.
