Remarks

I do not have applied for any other college except GLA University. I do not have any quota. Admission criteria are very simple as you have to just clear the entrance of GLAET which is easy to qualify as you have to just pass the passing criteria of 33%. after clearing the entrance you can directly take the admission in your desired course by providing all the personal documents along with fees. there is no counseling during the admission process. First Come First Serve. after completing all this process you can start your desired course by the given time. there is also a hostel facility available in college along with a mess facility. there is also the very big infrastructure of the college as it covers 110 acres of land. lots of facilities it provides like it has many numbers of different clubs, libraries, good classrooms with four air conditioner each. the environment is very nice. foreigner faculties are also there.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because of my interest in the computer and technology field. As I like to play with computers and used to do lots of tech things in my early daily life so I came to choose this course. Yes, I will describe the faculty and student ratio as 1:4 respectively beacuase teachers are used to giving us the only way of learning only and we have to travel on that path by ourselves. All faculties are M.tech and P.hd holders and their teaching method is also too good. There are two-term exams in the semester as first one in mid-term and another one is end-term with a gap of 1.5 months and genuinely the level of the exam is too good as if a one should study on the daily basis then he/she can pass the exam with very good marks as for the resulting system we are having the grading system which helps the average students not to fail in there exam so I can say if someone is studying on daily basis then only you are able to pass the exam with good marks only otherwise you will fail.

Internships Opportunities

5

TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, SAP LABS, CHECKBOX and many more companies which also offers the internship free with the job. there are 3 projects will be given to you for the degree completion. In second year you will be given the mini project 1 which should be completed with the given period of time and then you have to give the presentation and compulsory to pass the project. in second year there will be the mini project 2nd in which you have to proceed in the same way as you have completed the mini project 1. after completion of mini project 2 then you will be assigned to the major project which will be given in the 3rd year in 5th semester and you have to complete this project and also have to pass this project with good grades.

Placement Experience

5

From 3rd-year students are allowed to get placed in the companies through the valid selection process. there are more than 150+ MNC's companies come in GLA University to hire the students from different courses like TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, SAPLABS, CHECKBOX and much more. also this University provides the 90%+ placement in each courses which is such a big achivement in itself of GLA University. There is the minimum percentage criteria for get selected in MNC companies is more than 60 percent. My plan is to get the MCA degree after the BCA.

Fees and Financial Aid

First-year 82000 Second-year 84000 Third-year 86000 2000 hike per year. Up Scholarhip (below 2 lakh), National Scholarship (below 5 lakh). Recently I am a student over here I will be getting a job very soon in the future.

Campus Life

5

Abhyudhya, which signifies the sunrise, is the annual fest of GLA University Mathura. It is a conglomeration of cultural, literary, and arts events that will serve to create a marvelous festive gala worth relishing and partaking. The fest finishes you with a procession of multifarious events that would surely have an awe-trucking impact. There is a central library in GLA University that holds more than one lakh and sixty-six thousand of books with different categories. Classes are very fine in condition and also very large in size and having the 4 AC's in each classroom. there are several sports clubs are available in the college for different fields and gives you the opportunity to play on a national level. and there is a web portal of GLA University which is completely developed by Btech 4th year students.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Mid-term exams are very good and they are also very tough.
