Remarks

The admission process was quite easy. Based on the merit of 12th results admission was done and got the scholarship based on percentage. Proper counseling was given so that we can choose the correct course for us. A minimum mark of 60% was required.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is designed in such a way that it prepares students to get ready for the future. The curriculum is industry-based. Both the institute and faculties help students to get ready for the industry. Enough industrial exposure is provided to the students. Faculties are expertise in their field and they help students at every stage. They are friendly and motivate the students.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship opportunities are really huge on campus. Lot of student apply for the internships and get selected by top notch companies. They can start interships after the completion of the 1 st year. Compnaies like TCS, WIPRO, IIMR, India news, etc. recurit students for the internships.

Placement Experience

5

Campus placements are a vital part of the institute. They provide good opportunities to the students in the final year. Infact their is CRC (Corporate Resource Center) cell is available for the studnets to provide them with proper guidance. IN the third year students are eligible for the placement. They can also get internships post 1st year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is explained to us in the beginning. Enough time is given for us to pay the fees so that we dont miss the deadline, Fees can be paid in installments, so it doesn't become a heavy load on students/parents. There is an EWL cell available in the institute which stands for Earn While Learning. In EWL students get stipends and hike according to their job roles.

Campus Life

5

Along with modern infrastructural buildings with fully equipped amenities, the campus life for the students is exceptionally good. Students get holistic development here. Sports, Events, and recreational activities are part of the curriculum, There are 23 student-driven clubs that conduct lots of activites.

Interview Experience

5

There was no Group Discussion or written test was conducted at the time of admission. But yes interview was conducted. The interview questions were based on our marks, where we see ourself in the future, why we chose this course, what we like, in short a small talk session.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.
