Remarks

I had a very smooth admission process at SFIT. I applied through the CAP rounds after MHCET. The college organised an orientation session to tell us about various activities that happen in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is as per Mumbai University. The college has excellent faculty who are very well experienced in their domains and teach the concepts well. Practical education is also considered important here, just like theoretical knowledge.

Class Size: 69Course Fees: INR 108000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The TPO and the skill development cell offers various internship opportunities to students. They are also offered various online courses for additional learning opportunities from Coursera and other such sites.

Placement Experience

The placements usually begin from August in the final year. Various courses and preparatory materials are offered to students. The companies offer a decent salary to the freshers. Almost 90%+ students get placed in various companies such as TCS, LTI, Capgemini etc while a few opt for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers various scholarships and financial assistance to those who are eligible to avail them. During Covid, the college offered instalments too! The fees range between 1.1L to 1.3L per anum.

Campus Life

The college has a really great social life. Seniors here are very friendly and welcoming. There are many technical student committees such as IEEE, CSI, Code-X, ECELL, ISTE, IETE etc and they are very active year round with various workshops as well as flagship events and competitions that hone technical and softskills of a sutdent. Apart from this the college also organises it's own Tech Fest Mosaic, Annual Fest IRIS, Music Fest Raagas and Sports fest Ignitra. You will have a really good experience of college life here!

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities. Exposure to national level competitions along with the motivation to attempt them.Practical knowledge is also provided with the theoretical knowledge

SFIT the brave,the bold and the pressured

I entered thru cap round which plays a significant role in course eligibility in prestigious colleges , this college was recommended to me by a long stream of family members and it has lived upto a part of its reputation. I didn't get rejected but SFIT my 3rd most important college as I had to check for other better colleges which i knew i couldn't get in as part of a strategy. Eligibility depends on aspects like college minority and minority eligibility in this case Catholic or Christian need to have 65 plus in percentile of CET . The others who are eligible required a 95 plus percentile for minority eligibility....Read More
