Remarks
I have applied for Miranda and Hansraj but got selected at Ramjas under the merit list for the M.A entrance exam provided under Delhi University. The admission process for Ramjas was not so hectic since a teacher from the English Department guided me through all this. I don't know the admission criteria for M.A English here because all students admitted under this college has been selected under the merit cum entrance exam held by the affiliated Delhi University.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I did my graduation in English and wanted a master's degree as well so that later I can go for a PhD in this. The faculty was the overall strength of around 357 students, co-ed. The faculty members from the H.O.D to the teachers were all kind and helpful when problems regarding lessons and assignments submission process; they readily provide help. Exams were conducted on time and I'd like to rate the difficulty level of passing the exam a 4/5.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee course of a year was costly, almost 12000 plus later on around 750 of exam fee had to be played. I did not apply for any scholarship since most scholarships provided was under the discipline of social sciences or technical and professional courses. English was not counted in, I don't know why? But it would really have been better for all students if fair and squarely scholarships get provided for all subjects.
Campus Life
The Ramjas sports ground is quite big; big enough to play a real cricket match; all green and fresh. I must say the college quite maintain their sports campus really well. A total of 5/5. Moreover, the college looks so inviting with all the fresh plants and trees that have been grown all on the college campus. The library was a normal one, not so big or small, but with a lot of books, proficient enough for the students to go read in peace.
