I have applied for the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra. I have not attended it because I have not to get Computer Science and Engineering branch for B. Tech. No, I have not availed of any quota. I have done my admission through the counselling conducted by HSTES which is the Haryana State Technical Education Society. Anyone who has passed the JEE Main exam is eligible to participate in HSTES counselling. I have also applied for the D.C.R University counselling which is conducted by the University itself. This counselling is conducted after HSTES counselling. The leftover seats of HSTES are occupied by the University counselling which universities have conducted for filling their empty seats for the candidates who have not to get or wanted a better branch seat in any programme.

I have chosen Computer Science and Engineering for my curiosity and to gain knowledge to contribute to a better future of the country. The faculty of the Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University Science and Technology is highly qualified and experienced professors teaches in the classroom. At the end of semester there is form filled by the students. The form is basically a reviews to their respective teachers/professors. This is conducted at end of each of each branch. I think this is the best way to improve the system in terms of quality and quantity.

The fee for the first semester of the BTech branch is 45,400. In the second semester, the fee is 9750. Again in third the fees is 35400 and so on. So there is an odd even system for fees structure. Actually, I am in my first year so that I do have not any internship provided by the university. I have grabbed the seat due to my score in JEE-Main and the class 12th CBSE board. I have not applied for any scholarship.

The annual fest is conducted at the end of the year. This is the biggest fest ever I have seen. There is also a monthly fest conducted at the end of each month. There is a big library which is I think the school of knowledge and readers. All types of books whether it is a technical and non technical field all are required. There are many clubs in our society. We have acting, drama, dancing, singing, literature all there are clubs for their student's interest.
