Remarks

I applied through HSTES, a government-oriented site where you can apply or all the government colleges of Haryana, it also includes LEET admission. So I applied to only the two top universities DCRUST(through which I am currently persuing) JC BOSE.there are various counseling rounds 5 compulsory online and the rest depends on the university. Due to many counseling rounds, you have a higher probability of being selected. the most important thing is the deadline, the procedure for applying is quite smooth but you have to be punctual like they give deadlines to lock your choices, submit your documents, if you belong to a particular category submit the related documents, otherwise your 12th mark sheet and jee scorecard are enough, also they ask for your photographs make sure it's same as that you had used at the time of your jee. MIN marks-(GEN)/HOGC-for cse at least above 90 for ece above 80. In my first round, I got chemical then eventually in the 5th electrical and then finally ece off.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I was comfortable with software and hardware since I was a child and gradually developed a keen interest in them, so I chose ECE. I am quite satisfied with the faculty, especially of ECE dept, they actually do hard work on students. All the faculty members are either professors or asst professors sometimes Ph.D. scholars as well, but one can not compare their talent and hard work with their designations. Each subject includes two sessionals an end sem exam two compulsory assignments and the teacher may give you more depending on the difficulty of the subject.

Placement Experience

1

I don't know much about the placements but yes there is a placement cell in the university, which plays a vital role at the time of placements, and I think students start getting placements in their fourth year on campus. highest package 65 lacs from ece but that was off-campus. Lowest maybe 2 -3 lacs. A higher percentage of ECE and CSE students get placements, but if you are hardworking you can get it irrespective of your branch.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarships for my program that is B.Tech 0.1 percent of the students get a scholarship of 40,000 every year Total fee 45,400. TFW has some concessions which you can easily check on www.drcustm.org

Campus Life

3.5

We are the 2020 batch we hardly went to college but yes there are many societies functioning and you can create your own community if you wish. Societies are PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT AND EVENT MANAGEMENT 1 SWAG 2 PRATIBIMB 3 SUNSHINE LITERATURE AND PUBLIC SPEAKING 1 LISOC DANCE 1 REBELS DRAMA 1 SKA SINGING 1 GOONJ.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
