Campus review of deenbandhu chotturam University of science and technology

I have applied to some state government colleges in haryana like ymca , dcrust , gju etc . At first I have got selected in gju for cse branch but after when I got admission in dcrust ,I didn't attend to gju because dcrust is near to ncr therefore there could be a bit higher chance of being placed here as compared to gju. I have got admission here in the spot selection round held at the institute level at the marks 93.27 percentile in JEE mains in CSE department. The admission process is quite simple, I have to just file the application form which is available on their website, and my score in JEE mains exam . After that I have to choose the programs in which I want to take admission.

My department is cse department and I have choose it because I have an interset in technology stuff and another could be that it is trending nowadays. In my department there are some good faculty who use to communicate with students bfie any doubts after class but some doesn't use to pay attention towards students . The faculty student ratio is about 1:10 All the faculty members are PhD and masters degree holders . their teaching method was quite good and everything would be understable but at some point it will be difficult for you to handle. There are exams after every semester of 6 months and sessional are also be held by the respective teachers. It was not hard to pass but sometime difficult questions and questions from out of the syllabus may have appeared.

Many companies to our compus to provide intenship with average stipend of 2000-3000 per month . These companies used to recuit our campus and shortlisted eligible students for internships and take their interview to get the internship in their respective companies

Campus placement is at average level . There is a training placement cell in our university whch has been changed few days ago . From the finishing of 7 th sem the students are eligible for placement .many companies like tcs , wipro , ibm etc. IT and core companies visited to our campass . TCS came here as a mass recruiter .the average package was of 4-5 L per annum .for cse department the average is around 6-8 L per annum and the highest is around 12 -15 L per annum . The percentage of students placed here is around 70-75% .

Fee Structure is afforadble here . It's something around 35000/- for the even semester and 10000/- for odd ones . It includes liberay charges, practical charges etc. Scholarship is also available for tfw , pmsss or others IT companies like tcs , wipro , ibm etc. Used to visit our compass with maximum stipend of 12-15Lper annum . Recently a candidate of our university got placed in Amazon for 64L per annum but it placed in off-campus placements

The infrastructure of our university is really good . It includes a big and beautiful auditorium with upto 1000 students strength . A liberary is also there witb upto greater then 9000 books over there .it consists some cantein , gym , baskerball, vollyball ,lawn tennis , table tennis , athletic , cricket , football , badminton , swimming pool, medical despensory and a beautiful complex . Their are also many groups regarding singing , dancing , drama , debate , editing , educational, management like different groups or clubs are there .

Hostel facilities are quite often here , you got the rooms indiviually or you can also have double or triple . The mess food is worthy to be paid . You will get chola bttore as a main course on the occasion of Sunday and at any fevestival there is a sepcial meal for all the hostelers .
