I didn't took any entrance exam, as i was planning to prepare for IIT. But plan changed by parents and i took the admission here through management quota. Frankly i didn't know which branch to choose, on teacher said take computer science is good so i took that.

Its a University College, but the curriculum is same as UPTU. Course content is fine but the problem is completing it. There is no research focus at all. Its all about just completing the degree here. But Situation is no different in neighbourhood colleges as well.

No In my time there was no such facility available. I took internship on my own in HAL Lucknow, but no stipend was paid to me, but it was lot of learning for me in HAL. May by all the knowledge was not related to my curriculum but because of my interest i learned a lot of things about fighter planes.

This was the best part for me. There were annual functions, convocations, freshers party and many other events used to happen and everyone enjoyed it, University has pretty big auditorium and almost 1000+ people can sit together. There was no technical festival though.

This is best among the all other engineering colleges in 200 KM radius. 34K Yearly Fee + 6K exam fee for Gen category. Thats 40 K per year that is very decent compare to others who used to charge 80K+. It was feasible. Since most of others colleges provide similar low standard educations for double the fee, this was best among them.

There was scholarship facility but only for SC/ST students. And there was no loan facility available in college but you can opt loan from the and PSU banks and it was easily available.

Campus life was pretty cool, Gender ratio was (Male/female) 100/20, in mechanical branch it was even worst. There was no sports done in college but you can always participate in University sports but there was no staff/facilities available in Engineering college.

Mess food was managed by the one of the students, then hostel food was pretty ok. And 12K for hostel Yearly fee + 1K for food per month. The rent fee need to paid yearly or half yearly. Usually you need to share the room with 1 more person. You have option of 2 hostels and LK hostel was very close to college.

Exam schedule was balanced not very stressed or relaxed. Some time during external viva interviews we had to spend whole day in college. Lab has good amount of infrastructure but not many lab sessions done. And Lab was not very well maintained as well, 30% of systems were non functional.

As I said i went through management Quota, college called us with all the original documents and based on the marks in 10th and 12th they made a ranking of all the students came for counselling, also they considered the cast reservations as well. My rank was 23, and i had fare choices of options available.

Faculty is not much qualified and most of them have no interest to teach as well. Most of them are having degree from similar sub standard colleges, so they don't even have the understanding and knowledge fully. There are very few good and qualified professors as well but they are short in numbers or they migrate to better place for the better pay and opportunists.
