Course Curriculum Overview

4

I wanna be a software engineer so that's why I'm pursuing this degree . actually I wanna do b tech but it seems quite expensive and I can't even efforts it . And also I've some courses in computer science that increases my interest in this field so yeah ????. My clg is good but most of the university don't even know how the tech is evolving how they have to prepare for students and not everything you'll learn through clg right? You've to put your own efforts so that you can know what's the skills that you've to learn. That basically stand out to differently in that field. Overall clg is good fine but the thing that we have to know is to upskill our skills and prepare for ral world scenarios . And I don't want to change the teaching methods and all but yeah they should have to focus real world scenarios rather than just teaching academic stuffs.and frequency of exams I don't even feel it cuz that's my first sem so I don't know much . But I think exams are tough

Internships Opportunities

3

Kotak mahindra bank -Aamir ahmed UBS-mridul Shrivastava State Street - abhishek singh , Neelima tiwari, smirti agrwal . Not exactly familiar how much there package is but they are placed through my college and also I'm not familiar with projects and there tasks.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearwise fee is 32850 and Admitcard -200 Caution-1000 Counselling -250 Degree-250 Enrollment -150 Examination -4000 Lab-1000 Library-500 Marksheet -200 Sports-200 Studentwelfare-100 Tution-25000 My batchmet also have the same fee structure

Campus Life

4

There are multiple college society they organise it's up to you which in your show your interest . I love to do shayri and poetry so I participated in that and multiple functions they organise recently there was a function deekshant in October. In which they give the gold medal to toppers and in August there was a function named deekharambh in this basically they tell freshers how is college medium and also told about the faculties and all and they even see all the campus and they told if you've been going through any problem which teacher will help you . Library is far for us infact we don't need to purchase any stuffs like books and all they've also provided computer over to see the book location . All the books are over there which publication you ou want you can search it there. In our classroom not having any smart board but we have a lab in which they explain the topics . I don't have participated in sports till now so don't know much but they have sports for students who participated may know more than me . No not having this kind of groups I think but yeah they have there some social media chhanels and all for providing information to students.

Admission

Actually I didn't apply for any other clg because I live in ayodhya and is near by me also my father suggested me to take admission in it the factory is fee it's bit cheap than other one . And also my father told he can't even afford any other clg and there expenses . And the admission process is merit based since my marks in class 12 are 85 % so I was eligible . The one thing that you've completed you class 12th from a mathematics . And the other is your marks should be grater than 45% (4.5) .

Faculty

4

Yeah as I've mentioned earlier teachers are friendly and they solve our problems immediately . So the ratio is good ???? and if any student faces any problem can contact direct to that particular professor . The best faculty I would say pawan sir it doesn't mean I don't like other faculties . I like his teachings skills and how within one minute he grab the attention of all students via explaining any topic in different in practical way . The faculty that I don't like is a teacher who is arrogant and even he teaches very fastly no hate but it feels overwhelming to me and may be to other students. There are 6 subjects over there in my semester in which 2 are objective and the rest of the are based on to subjective. That's my first sem so I don't know much about it but yeah ???? it seems hard even csa and I would say mathematics students get less marks than other ones .

Night Life

3

Gym is available in sports but for boys in night I think it's open . Not for girls not having any cafeteria but yeah there is canteen that opens in day early another in night .hostels are quite expensive for me so don't having it but those who live in said it was good I live in my hostel with family not in college hostels . I don't have hangout any class till now there as a very beautiful park over in which they usually sit those who've bunked there classes and all.but yeah I think one park is also given in for t of library where students sir and there books and all other stuffs . Usually campus timings starts with 10 am and ended with 3pm that is major timings but you can go o take which class you feel interested so yeah it's like seems to be noisy in night to live in library . Basically our college library usually don't opens in night because nobody is having in it and it opens at college timings starts when that's is 10am . And having 75% attendance is compulsory.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

Talk about why I choose BCA I want to become a software engineer and many people in my family have placed on good posts after being inspired by them, I chose this course. All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Mid-term exams are very good and they are also very tough.
