PIET - THE SUCCESS GUIDE

I applied for so many colleges before visiting PIET college. But at last, I decided to take admission to this college because of its good infrastructure and quality of the study and education , and better atmosphere for study. I know there were so many better options for me and but according to my conditon and need , I think I took a good decision. Its 4YEARS fee was APPROX 5 lac at that time and few more internal expenses liKe project work etc. At the time of admission, all original documents were seen for verification, I paid my fees in installments .OBC QUOTA is also allowed to me. I think this is one of the best colleges for engineering at affordable fees at my place . I availed ObC quota to get concession in my fees .

It was my dream to become a Computer Engineer and I can't afford too much fees for my this course so I selected this college as it is offering on affordable fees . The faculty inside the college is the best and is too much hard-working and co-operative in nature. They understand student's problems support them fully in their needs. Approx. 300+ teaching staff is available for teaching. Here periodic and semester-wise exams were taken regularly. Exams were of moderate level but sometimes to check our better knowledge they make the exam paper difficult as compare to other time In every semester they took exams and there was some periodic test also taken by professors.

Many of our college students opted for some internships for experience and knowledge purposes and also to get stipends. But the stipend offered by them is not much enough for them. I tried only a single internship only for three week during my third year but i was not satisfied with the sipend offered by them so i left it in just few weeks . we have done many projects during our 4th year.

From the 7th semester, some students got the campus placement and At end of the 8th semester, Few more students got good jobs from our college campus and from off campus also, students get an average package of 5.35 lac approx. And approx. 40% of students got placement either campus or off-campus placement. After getting a degree i want to do mba and get placed in a reputed company.

Actually total fees for the B.Tech. course was 4.95 lacs (approx. 5 lac) for four years, semester wise I paid 1.29 lacs approximately. I paid my fees semester-wise. I think this fess was not too much high as compare to some other private colleges. I got some concession in my overall fees during my 4 years. I got an academic scholarship during my second year in the college as I gave a scholarship exam arranged inside our campus for economically weaker students.

When I talk about our annual fests and curricular programs which take place in our college I became very happy to explain them. As annually some cultural programs were organized there and I also joined them. The lecture hall was also big and neat and clean. Sports activities also taken place regularly I am also involved in all kinds of physical activities offered for us. We played approx. all the outdoor and indoor games available at that time to us.. The annual fest is conducted at the end of the year. This is the biggest fest ever I have seen. There is also a monthly fest conducted at the end of each month. There is a big library which is I think the school of knowledge and readers.
