Honest review of college of commerce, arts and science, Patna.

This college now comes under Patliputra University, Patna. So after the 12th result, I filled Patliputra University counseling form with my preferred choices of colleges and their courses. At my 12th percentage and my category OBC, I was allotted this college for BA in political science honor. If you are a general candidate then 80% would be safe for you to take admission here. There are no such age criteria. After the counseling result, when I was allotted this college, I had to physically go to this college for document verification and fees payment. Here, nothing is managed, you have to run from here to there to get any of your work done here. That day was very hectic, very much crowd were there that day. But, every process runs here very slow.

I was interested in preparing for govt. exams such as ssc, railways etc so, I opted for this course bcoz you will get a lot of free time in this course. Faculty student ratio is 60:1 here. All facilities have master's and PhD in their respective fields. They teach very well, but student coming here are not interested in attending classes. They only come to college, when they have some official work here. Although, exams are conducted in time here. it is very easy to pass with flying colours here, if you just started preparing one week before exams.

Fees is very less here, just 2300 rupees per year for BA. Yes, you get scholarship here. You just have to apply for NSP central sector scheme for college and university students on the NSP portal and submit print out of application in college office, you will get the scholarship after all verification on the basis of your family income, your percentage, course fees etc. There is no such scholarship at institute level by college.

There is not any fest conducted here,just independence day and republic day program are celebrated. There is a lot of books in library, you can use them by issuing your library indentity card. The classroom is well equipped with a blackboard and fans. There are no extracurricular activities organised here. Not any club also, People come here only for official work or exams.
