Tried to give all the details I can about NMFC college

I had applied online and got my seat secured directly in this college.Since I was an in-house student the admission process wasn't that difficult. The minimum eligibility criteria for BCom admissions is that students must pass the class 12 examination in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The overall experience was very good and the admission staff were polite and kind to help you on call.There is no quota facility in this college.

I'm currently pursuing my CA so many people suggested me to do bcom as my bachelor's degree. The Teaching staff of the college is polite, gives you better information and knowledge about each and every topic. The papers are very well drafted and mcq based from last year divided into 75 marks as main paper and 25 as internals.

The college had compulsory to do internship for second year students as they will have a project in the third year on the same. The college placement cell also updates the website with internship opportunities. They made our risesharp account last year for such opportunities which didn't worked out it seems. Now they have made registered all students to internshala. They had provided some internship opportunities other than internshala in companies like Technoserv and ejob Ocean where job was like to screen the resumes of students, some HR and marketing jobs.

The college placement are mostly for second and third year students. The college placement has now made another special Whatsapp group where only placement notices are posted. And the same is also updated on the college website portal. But till now, I felt the companies which had placement opportunities had only 1-2 openings mostly. There are very very less placements for 1st and 2nd year students I am currently studying in my second year I will give the update in about third year. We haven't visited any companies yet. But the college did kept a job fair last year. But, I didn't find that great opportunity. I have asked some alumni they told they did had industrial visits. But due to vivid restrictions it is not possible now. My plans after degree would be to do professional course like CA.

The cost is affordable as compared to other colleges in Mumbai. The fees for 2020 batch is 28000 p.a. for bcom degree which you can pay in installments. The college will give notice about the fees installment payment in the college group as well as college website. You can pay accordingly through debit card, cash or DD. There were also many placement notices given by college. It is mostly for third year students and some of second year also.

Rose day, annual day, traditional day and various sports event were held in the college before pandemic. Even now there are online events and webinars conducted. Kabaddi, cricket, volleyball competition were held in addition PUBG tournament were also held for students. NIRVAAN is our annual fest. Besides,Technotsav, Jazba, elaan are some other fests conducted by various other departments.These fests were conducted in the month of December/January. NCC of college has done various social works like blood donation camps, clothes food distribution. Library is one of the best part of the college. It's infrastructure is great. Normally people don't like to visit it. But, the students who don't study also visits it. It is on 8th floor so it also has some great views. Besides, the college also has air conditioned auditorium/hall. The college canteen has to be improved I think. It is crowded and not that great food and not proper ventilation.
