I appeared for IIT-JEE, AIEEE, BITSAT and MH-CET. My Scores are as follows JEE - 51, AIEEE - 32, BITSAT - 61 or 64 (do not remember), MH-CET - 71.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is pretty much on point. The course covers almost all areas required for engineering, infact sometimes going too deep into a subject. Even though there are a few elective subjects, the subjects are chosen by the college according to the availability of staff for that subject.
Internships Opportunities
Unfortunately no, our college does not provide internships. These are one of the departments our college needs to work on.
Placement Experience
Placement record of the college is very poor. Only a couple of chosen students out of hundreds get placed. A few companies that visit are WIPRO, INFOSYS etc. Although our college encourages us to visit placement drives by providing us with details of the drive, time, venue etc by text messages.
College Events
We have only two fests i.e Technical and Cultural fests. Technical Fest: Usually 2 days long, has various activities that cover coding, robotics, lan gaming etc. The whole college usually takes part in this fest. Cultural Fest: Usually 1 day long has various social activities such as singing, dancing, skits, plays, DJ etc. The whole college usually participates.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is a bit high/expensive given the college infrastructure, quality of education and placement provision. Usually the annual fees goes upto 80 k for a student in the general category. Whereas it is approximately 40 k for OBC students and goes below upto 8k-10k for ST/SC students.
Hostel Facilities
Our college does not provide hostel services. We do have a canteen in our college but the food there is not at all hygienic. There is no cleanliness in the kitchen and the canteen infrastructure is pathetic. Only a few fans in the canteen work and the roof leaks water during rainy season. There have been instances where rodents have been spotted in the kitchen by many students.
Exam Structure
Exam structure was great and pretty much chilled out. Although we had lab every day it wasn't hectic, infact students love to do practical stuff. Unit tests were well organised. Semester exams on the other hand were a bit hectic rendering rest of my day useless.
Faculty
The quality of teaching is ok. The teachers seem interested in teaching but are unable to create a fun learning environment in the classroom. Teachers are unable to transfer/bestow their knowledge onto the students because of factors such as bad classroom infrastructure, communication barrier etc.
