In my college there was a qouta for Haryana students and scoring marks more than 95% in boards Admission process was quite simple. On day 1 there was a photograph clicked along with payment of fees. Course Curriculum Overview
I have an interest in Computer Science so went with this. For every 45 students there was 1 faculty where most of the faculties have done their PHd. There were 3 exams in a semester that is in 6 months; 2 minors and 1 major. Minors hold less weitage so they used to be a little difficult but major exams were easy to pass but scoring good marks can be a little struggle, especially when internal marks are in teachers hands. If someone is scoring good marks in internals then he can have a good percentage
Placement Experience
From 3rd year companies come for internship which often converts into PPO and in 4th year companies come for jobs. There are many companies like Fidelity, Deloitte, Optum Healthcare, Nagarro that visits our campus and on an average each company takes 5-6 students Highest package would be around 10lakhs per annum but usually such companies are offering in sales position but on an average there is 4-5 lakhs per annum package that is offered with around 70-80% students getting the job. Most of the students go for their masters but I would like to grow in my own job
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year there was a hike of 5% of fees. If someone is paying 2.25 lakhs an year even 5 percent hike would be more than 10 thousand. If someone is coming with a hostel, hostel itself costs around 75 thousand per semester so 1.5 lakhs per year. I got campus placed in a company Decimal Technology with 5 lakhs CTC. On an average there is a 70% campus placement with average package of 4 lakhs CTC
Campus Life
There's only 1 fest that is conducted in one year which is Monentum and happens in November. For every 5 students there is 1 book available of curriculum otherwise its a big library with a lots of journals. Campus is fully air conditioned with switchboards on every desk and a biometric system entries. Since it is Gurgaon there are many clubs nearby. There are 2 social groups in campus
