Brief about my university DCRUST

This university is really good, you get an awesome environment here both academically and non-academically , basic procedure for admission into engineering courses you have to have your jee score and approx min score is 75-80. Then there will be counselling, choose your preferred course priority wise (if you wish to have two or more choices) overall it's a really easy process. A very good university in Haryana, it's Haryana's second best engineering University. All the best go for it.

For me, I chose this course because I was interested in the research field, and this course in this university provides me with a very good opportunity for that. Approx faculty: student ratio in BTech biotech course is 1:15. The faculty is very experienced professors with degrees like PhD and more. If we talk about BTech, there are 8 semesters, as it's a four year degree. So two semesters in a year. Exams are held timely each semester plus there are two minor exams in each semester and the difficulty level of the end semester exam is high to high medium. Everything needs effort so study and then the passing exam is easy.

Our university is sponsored by many big companies for internships, one can avail from the very beginning in the first year with starting stipend Rs.1000/ to 25000 / month. Some of the very known and frequent companies are INTERSHALA, GOOGLE CLOUDS, Codingninja, TEQIP, INTALLYPAT COMPANY ETC.

Students can become eligible after 6semester for placement but they have to complete their degree first, there are many opportunities provided for placement from companies like TATA, HCL, and many more big companies. The average package offered is 5-7 lakhs, highest offered is 13lakhs.

The fee for each first year is around 45750/ and for the 2nd semester is 9700/ and the fee for the second year is around 35400/ ...it will decrease each year. Plus you can also avail yourself many scholarships based on your academic excellence, your annual income, martyrs children or wife, and there are many different types of scholarship that you can avail during the course of your degree, campus also has many complexes so you can always have a job at access.

There are many many fests that are conducted almost every month, we have RHYTHM our annual cultural fest, TECHNOVA annual fest which brings out your inner scientists and engineers, there are many clubs like (SWAG, SOCIAL GROUP )(PRATIBIMB, PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT ), NSS, NCC, (NPG, RPG ) FOLK DANCE CLUBS AND there are many other clubs. These all clubs are run by students, with this also have sports opportunities at the campus and hostel. The library is the heart of this university, we have one separate building for the library and we also have ac auditorium.

There are 3hostels for girls and four hostels for boys within the campus itself. It is really affordable. One can either opt for a single room or share. Single Room includes one clothing wardrobe, one iron almirah for books, valuable or anything you want to put inside that, single wooden ply bed, table and chair. Rooms are spacious and ventilation is also good. Meals in hostel taste real good and worth money, the menu for each day is different. The hostel also provides a separate washing area with a washing machine. The registration process is easy though priority is given to students from far places and different states, normally if your residence is 45 km or more, you easily get hostel rooms. If you don't wish to take a hostel you can get pg or rental rooms in Sonipat, it takes only 10-15 mins from there.
