Remarks

We have to give CET exam for getting admission to this college. Students select on the basis of CET ranks and some students select through management quota. You will get admission according to rank. The cet exam is not so difficult everyone cracks easily with a good rank

Course Curriculum Overview

The time limit is approx 2:30 hours for 150 questions. The questions are MCQ-based. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate anyone can get good marks in the exam with a little hard work. The college also teaches about the exams and their patterns and it also conducts seminar on how to conduct cet exam.

Internships Opportunities

Internshala is the main internship company by the tips . The internship are both type paid as well as unpaid. Students choose internship according to their interests . The college also provide work from home internship for the students.

Placement Experience

The College provides many placements some companies like wipro,byzus etc are most recruiter companies. Average package of salary is approx 3-4 lakh and highest package is 10 lakh . All the students are placed on job. It also provides some internships for getting experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is also moderate like the fee of bcom hons is approx 3,60,000 for 3 yrs. The college also provide some scholarships for students who are good in study . It also provide financial assistance like in this pandemic situation our college help to those students who faced any mishappening in his/her family

Campus Life

College Infrastructure - College have well equipped laboratories. Faculties are very helpful and makes us understand the topic well . Air Conditioned rooms are available . There are three huge computer labs available. A huge canteens are also available with good quality of foods are provided. Huge library containing extremely good quality books . No need to buy books for semester as all books are available in library . College have hygienic bathrooms in every floor both for boys as well as girls . College have free wifi inside the campus . Academics :- I am studying Bcom (H) in final year . We have highly educated and experienced teachers, who guides us all the way . Our courses are well planned and the way our teachers make us understand a topic through presentations as well as practicals makes up job -ready. Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Ethereal experience at TIPS

I applied for IITM in Janakpuri and Maharaja Agrasen I could get admission in these colleges but I chose TIPS because the crowd and IITM is not good and Maharaja Agrasen is very far away from my house so I ended up taking admission in TIPS as it is close to my house. I got rejection from Maharaja Surajmal as my rank in IPU CET exam was not up to the mark to join Maharaja Surajmal. the admission process of my college was smooth, I gave the IPUCET exam which is held by the Indraprastha University after the results we have to make a priority list for the colleges we want to take admissions in. I just had to submit the documents in the college and it was like 2-3 hours of process for verifying them and I got admission in TIPS...Read More
