Course Curriculum Overview
The course distribution across all the 4 years is very wisely done. The course does not leave a chance of skipping any topics which helps in understanding each and every concept. The course is prepared in a such a way that it helps the students to take up the competitive exams in future like GATE etc. All the topics are mandatory as there will be no choice/options in the question paper.
Internships Opportunities
It branches get the internships mostly. The stipend varies from 10k to 40k for some companies like ebay, Cisco. The internship is always a head start to the career. Most of the times, the companies recruit directly after the internship.
Placement Experience
Placements are top class if you are in IT branch. For all the core branches, its not that recommended. Mass recruiters are always to get away with the job. Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, Techmahindra, Infosys, IBM offer 3.5 to 4 lacs package while Cisco, EBay, flipkart, Amazon, Microsoft offer more than 10 lacs.
College Events
Technical - Science fest, Supra and Baja events. Festivals - Aatma trisha and other cultural events. Games will be organized prior to the fest and stage shows will be very exciting. Overall, not a college meant for fest's and other events. Its the college more of a study kind. Importance is not prioritized for sports, games and other extra curricular activities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible if you are from the merit seat. KCET fees will be 38000 plus college fees which will be 10k. If you are opting the college from Comedk, then the fee structure will be quite high. It might fall around 2 lacs per year. Management quota will be very expensive and it is branch dependant. For CS and IS, it will be around 20-30 lacs . for core branches 10-15 lacs.
Exam Structure
In this category, PES is the most difficult college to pass out. Only 2 out of 2 internals makes things very hectic. On top of this the exam paper has no choices. All questions are mandatory. The syllabus will be generalised and more real time questions will be asked.
Admission
Carry all the documents marks cards, KCET hall ticket, supporting documents if you have choosed the college on quota along with 4 copies of passport size photos. Submit your original documents along with KCET counselling fees form. Fill the college fees and get the admission done. Get a form at the admin block/ MRD block and fill the same.
Faculty
The faculty for the mechanical engineering is very widely experienced. There are many PhD holders who help thoroughly to do the research and to pursue interested projects. The faculty's recommendation is very helpful for doing MS as they are very well known to most of the universities.
