Remarks

The minimum mark criteria were 70 percent. There is no minimum age thing. You just have to be opting for maths or computer science after 10 classes. The admission process was quite easy and the staff was also helpful.

I opted for BCA as it is a course with which I can easily relate. Faculty: student ratio is 1:25. The faculty is talented and they are very helpful too. The term exams were timely and I was average exam not too tough nor too easy.

Placement Experience

5the semester. Some MNCs and some start-ups visit the campus for placement purposes. 65 percent of students getting placement. My plans after getting the degree are that doing I will continue my further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 82000 per year and 5000 is security money. The scholarship process is quite easy. The scholarship form is available in the administration. You get an extra scholarship at the time of admission on the basis of your 12 class Percentage.

Campus Life

There is an annual fest named anubhuti held in November. Books and journals are available in the library in large quantities. There is a huge scope of sports and co-curricular activities. There are many clubs and social group's on the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

I chose this college over others because of its balanced focus on ACADEMICS, PLACEMENT, INFRASTRUCTURE AND FACULTY SUPPORT, which felt more student-centric compared to the other colleges i applied to. I applied to a few similar private universities and received confirmed admission offers, but I chose this college due to its better course strucutre, approachable faculty and strong placement support.
