Education in this pandemic

I wanted to change my college in graduation but during admission, I was at my village(during a pandemic) so I was not able to change it. I wanted to change it because of fees. I have completed my junior college here. So it was easier for me to take admission here. They had sent us a link through which we can fill up the form and pay the fees. The admission criteria for this course is a minimum of 45% aggregate in your 12th grade. There is also limited seats for the BAF course as it is a specialised course. There was an online orientation program where we have explained all the details about the campus and course.

I am good at maths and accounting so I have selected this course. The teachers are well qualified to teach you the subjects. The faculty students ratio can be 1:2 as there is the same faculty that teaches us for admission and placements. They will guide you if you need any kind of help in your studies and career goals. The exams are MCQ based for the last two years. There are two exams in each semester - unit exams(i.e. internals) and final sem exams. In total there are 6 semesters over three years. The term exams were a little difficult than unit exams. The internal exams have 1 hour for 25 marks as well main sem exams also has 1 hour for 75 marks.

The college does provide internship opportunities but doesn't have many openings. The college has conducted a job fair last year where there were the jobs were offered by companies and classes. I don't remember the names properly. But there were 6-7 companies providing very few openings for all the bachelor's degree students and all years. The college has now told the students to get registered with Internshala for more opportunities.

I didn't receive any kind of scholarship or quota. I don't think if there is such a system of scholarship in this college. The fees are a little high (37200) in this pandemic for this course as we are not able to make the most out of it. There are various job placements posted by the college faculty on the college's website. One can visit it anytime and apply. There is also a separate WhatsApp group made now only for the job placements. I haven't applied for any job yet as all the job placements posted are mostly for third year students.

The infrastructure of the college library is really good as I was in this college for junior academics. But now, of course, we cannot visit the library and there is no such online facility also through which we can read books. I really hope we do get to visit that library soon. About sports, the college use to have various intercollegiate events of various indoor as well outdoor activities. Many athletes have achieved their goals through college. Recently, the college has seeked new players for university and state level tournaments. The NSS and nature's club of college has done various social works with the help of college faculty like distribution of foods,clothes, tree plantation programmes,etc.The college use to conduct the annual and tech fests in the month of December- January. The annual fest was conducted every year in Kora kendra ground. All other fests were conducted in college hall or campus. These fests were conducted by cultural committee under the guidance of teachers.
