My college review-my campus life.

I have not applied for any other colleges as it is closer to my house and I got this college at my first counseling. I don't get any quota for admission as I am general. My rank in wbjee was 6543. In the counseling process, I opted for this college in the first list and I am fortunate enough to get the college I want in my first counseling. Then I booked my sit by paying 5000 rs. After that final document verification process was done by the college and I paid payment of admission 13000rs. For general students, they have to get under 8000 rank in wbjee to got into the college and for sc st students it is under15000 to get computer science engineering department in our college.

Now there is a boom in the tech industry about software development and data engineering -I think the course is relevant enough to meet the industry need. Also, I think machine learning, data science, and AI making a huge change in today's world. I was curious about them since childhood. So I opted for the course. The student-teacher ratio is very good. There are almost 55 well-qualified teachers in our college. They are specialists in their field. Most of them are Ph.D. holders and have done their research papers at prestigious universities like IIT and iisc. Semester exams are pretty good. Now because of covid offline exams are not possible. So the university is conducting remote protected online exams to carry forward education. Almost every student passes the semester exams because of the quality of education in the college.

Students mostly got offers from their coding platform profile and LinkedIn profile. They got opportunities from mainly startup companies. One of the main criteria is students have to be very good at data structure and algorithm and problem-solving skills.

From 7 the semester students start to prepare for the campus placement. Tcs, Wipro, Infosys are regular visitors to our college. Last year a senior cracked a 15 LPA package from a start-up. 8 LPA is the avg package in our college. Almost 80% of students got placed in product-based companies. I want to go for M.Tech after finishing my B.Tech degree.

The fees of the college are pretty low. Per year fee for computer science engineering is 13000 only- which is pretty low. That makes the college more attractive. Students got scholarships from various government schemes like the Swami Vivekananda scholarship, oasis scholarship, minority scholarship. So the placement in our college is good enough to describe. About 80% of students got placed in a product-based company like Wipro, tcs, Infosys - they are regular visitors in our college. 15 LPA is the highest package offered to a senior of our college - he is now placed in a start-up.

Alfresco is the main event in our college. Apart from that many tech fests and events were conducted on our college campus. Besides those magazines publishing, teachers' day event and many national events conducted in our college campus by students council. There is a big library in our college- that hold almost 30,000 books of various scientific field -many research magazine and weekly and monthly science magazine. There is a separate building for each department. As the college are built in 1927, the buildings are old and each carried the heritage of the locality. High-speed internet is available on college campuses as well as in the boy's hostel. No girl's hostel is available. There is a very big ground inside our college campus for sports, an annual day celebrated in the college ground as well as many cricket and football tournaments organized by the student's council. There are many social and cultural clubs in our college like drama club, dance club, photography club, coding club.
