Remarks
At first, they sent a mail where some credentials were present including various links. At first, we join the gmeet with the given link on time and the proctor/instructors guided us on what to do next. Then after our registration, orientation programs were held with different competitions and various guests were present and they guided everything about the college and its rules and regulations. After the orientation, we are assigned with a personal proctor for the entire 4 years and if we need any help in our college life, we can discuss with him whether it's academic or personal motivation. After that College Life starts.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have 3 exams per semester. CAT1, CAT2, FAT. CAT- Continuous Assessment Test, FAT- Final Assessment Test. All these three exams held with approx 1.5 Months gap. CAT1 contains around first 2 modules, then CAT 2 Contains around Next 3 modules and FAT contains whole portion of the course i.e, 7 Module. It is not so difficult to pass the exam, but it's hard to score much. But if you study regularly what the teacher taught. You can easily get 9+ CGPA. While grading, 15 % is taken from CAT1, 15% from CAT2, 40% FAT and remaining 30% from Digital Assignment and Quizes which depends on the faculty whether they wanted to give digital assignment or wanted to take quize. Normally CAT exam is of 30 marka paper nad FAT is of 60 Marks paper and each question is of 10 Marks. Now, in online it's completely open book exam. But depending only on open book is a foolish idea as they never ask Direct question, so understanding the question takes time and they always ask very lengthy questions.
Internships Opportunities
We have various courses in our college and students have the flexibility to take any courses of their choice which they term as FFCS(Fully Flexible Credit System). Also, we have the right to select any faculty of our choice and any slot if that slot is available by that particular faculty from second semester onwards.
Placement Experience
I will sit in an interview and grab a good placement. After doing jobs for few years and getting a good profile. I will try to start my own startup. Also, I will try to tkae my MBA degree from any good institutions or from any foreign universities
Fees and Financial Aid
I ma currently 2nd year student, so there is no things talking about placement. I didn't get any schoolarship for my rank and family incomes. But they do provide financial assistance to the people who get rank below 1000, and whose family income is less than 1 Lakh. Also VIT has several category for the admission and each category has different fee. Like I hda a good rank so I got admission in category 1 where yearly fee is 1.95 LPA and category 2,3,4 has more than that and category 4 has around 4.5 LPA. But they provide a admission latter through which we can avail a education loan easily from any bank.
