I have applied online through Mumbai University. I got this college on my first list. So without wasting much time I applied to this college. No, I hadn't applied for any quota. BBI is a three year bachelor's degree program. The minimum requirement for taking up this course is a 12th pass with an aggregate of 50 -60%. Once your name is on the university list you can visit the college and the admission staff will guide you further.
Course Curriculum Overview
If you are thinking to make your career in the banking sector then this course is the best. The whole course will have subjects like banking laws, investor relations, investment and portfolio management and also much about insurance which will be a separate subject. The teachers have a long, good experience in this field. The exams were timely conducted with great supervision. Also, timely revisions were taken over.
Fees and Financial Aid
My fees for sybbi was around 17000 for open caste. And for the reserved category, the fees is really less around 3000. So, if you come under the reserved category then the course over affordability is a thumbs-up as it is really less. And also for open as compared to some other colleges in Mumbai. There were job placements in the third year where I had applied many times and also asked the placement head but there was no response.
Campus Life
Life at the campus was great. I miss those days. The college had various fests. Our fest name was 'PRAGYOTSAV' which was huge and just great. College also use to celebrate other days like rose day, sports day, annual day, etc. The college library was also decent and good with a variety of books which you can take home or use there and give back. The classroom is normal like any other classroom in schools and colleges with blackboards and benches. There were no projector and other high amenities.
