Pendhakar Rise

I applied for KJ Somaiya and Kelkar but couldn't get a seat due to the criteria. No, I don't have any quota and I am from Open. Admission criteria for Pendarkar were less all it needed for B.com was 50+ in 12 that is what my Observation is the admission process was smooth and easy and the staff were kind and supportive.

I choose B.com because I am doing CMA and B.com provides efficient time for me to prepare for my exam and it is easy For every 60 Students, there is a faculty who guides and motivates Students. Most of the Faculty are B.com some are MBA and 2-3 are PhD. Term exams were held twice a year and was not that hard, a bit of study and you can pass easily.

Very few companies come here to provide internships with a stipend and it's very hard for students to get an internship. Projects like FLAME and fest etc are held to clarify tasks like management skills communication skills of Students.

Students become eligible for campus placement from the third year that is last year. companies like TCS and few Local Companies comes every year for offers. 8 LPA was the highest package last year and an average of 2.5 LPA is provided. 30 percent of students get placed. My plan after getting a degree is to get into data management in a company.

Fees were 7000 a year in the first year and it hikes like 500 almost in 2 and 3 rd year and cost of study can be zero if students use notes and books provided by College. there is no scholarship for the open category and a campus with a stipend is very rare, very few students get that opportunity of an internship with a stipend.

FLAME was the name of the annual fest held by Third year every end of November with many activities like sports dance etc Books and journals are provided by the college and the library is of decent size with the required amount of study material amenities in the classroom is Blackboard and benches in decent condition. Sports like carrom badminton volleyball etc and many sports are held in this college. The social group that helps people is started by students named "aashna" it's just a start but there are groups.
