Remarks

The admission criteria are the same as for clat so firstly there was an interview by the dean of the IFIM law school so he asked about questions like tell me things about you where do you stay, why you want to join this course why only this college, tell me about your family. He asked basic things such as my weakness and my strength. Then after the interview you have to write a story based upon the topic which they give in my case it was a topic India after the independence so I wrote about one or two pages about it you have a time frame I guess 30 to 40 minutes and within the time frame, you have to mail them. The same day I got my result I was selected and I was asked to pay 25000 rupees fees as my admission fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose this course like BBA LLB because I was a commerce student and I was having interest in-laws of it was very beneficial for me to choose a commerce subject and law subject because I already know the basics of commerce as I had studied it in my 11th and 12th standard. The faculty are very very nice their teaching method is very good. My exams were conducted twice a year we had two semesters in one year. These were the main exams conducted by Karnataka State Law University. The college also took mid-semester exams they called them the preparatory exams. They were easy but not the university one the university once were very difficult because they had a very strict marking system. And it is very hard for a student to pass in all the subject's.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are various internship opportunities that are given by the college authority as such as internships in NGOs in High courts in courts in legal aid clinics and in various places. Every student needs to intern at least 8 times in 5 years. Each internship should be of a minimum of 28 days. They provide internships in NGOs that suggest pucl in Delhi as well as the pucl Jaipur. They are given various processes to research various things and to maintain a diary as well. In which they have to write everything that they experienced in a day. And share it with that organization after which they issue a letter and a certificate of completion of internship under that organization.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the colleges are 150000 per year. You need to give a security as well for instance you have to give 20000 security . For the hostel expenses for a six month rent it was almost 82000 rupees so for a year it would cost you around 162000 rupees In double sharing. Yes they do provide scholarship to the students who have got rank up to 3000 in the clat exam . But you have to score very well in the university exam otherwise they will cancel your scholarship. You have to also maintain a 75% minimum attendance in your college days. There is no hike in the fees throughout your 5 years 150000 is the money you need to pay every year.

Campus Life

1.5

There are a lot of programs conducted by the law school like dance programs and singing and a lot of colleges come together to host the programs. The library is also very nice you can get various books on various subjects as u can also get magazines and newspapers. You can also issue the book for seven days and if you do not return not the time you have to pay a fine of rupees 2 for every day. The classrooms are also very nice we used to stick it in the mood court it was very large around 70 it students use to study in the class. The classroom had 3 AC , a whiteboard, a podium, and a projector. For the sports part you have to go to the hostel there exists the ground there you can play various sports such as cricket and football. There is also a gym inside the hostel where you can do gyming.

Interview Experience

3.5

First of all, there was an interview by the dean of the ifim law school. You need to give any exam like clat or lsat that is mandatory. Are you have to sit for the exam conducted by the law school itself. Then after the interview, you need to write about a topic that they will assign you almost one or two pages. For it I increase my confidence by writing about myself my strength m what are my weaknesses and what I wish to be in the future, and I want to study law. And for the written part I had studied various articles from Times of India Indian express and other magazines to increase my vocabulary and also to increase my knowledge. One can also watch videos on YouTube as to how the clear the interview round for the college admission process

It is better to start internship in 2nd or 3rd year for proper legal understanding before a student graduates from the college. The college will provide practical knowledge but it does not encounter proper real life situatons.
