Remarks
I completed my diploma from Vidyalankar Polytechnic, after my diploma I applied for engineering through the online process of cap rounds and I got admission to Vidyalankar Institute of Technology in the last cap round. Also at the time of my admission, the seats were reduced for the direct second-year students, but luckily I got admission through the OBC quota.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because when I was introduced to computers for the first time I developed an interest in them. Also talking about the teachers, they are a bit strict sometimes but overall the teaching methods are good. Then if we talk about the faculty members they are highly qualified. The term exams are held every six months which marks the end of a semester.
Internships Opportunities
The students are given internship opportunities on a regular basis. The roles and stipends offered to the students depend on their skills and capabilities. Several companies and startups offer a variety of roles and responsibilities.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements from the seventh semester. The companies that recruit students are MNCs like TCS, Wipro, L&T, Infosys, etc. And the average package offered is around 3 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The actual cost to study is 1 lakh 37 thousand rupees but my fees through the OBC quota is 76 thousand rupees. Also, the companies that come for recruiting students are MNCs and tech giants. The students are offered good packages.
Campus Life
The events that are held on campus-like flash mobs, verve, tech fest, etc help us, students, to enjoy our social life. Talking about Infrastructure it is widely spread into 11 acres which have VIT, VP, and VSIT. Also, the students are offered a gymkhana that has indoor games and other fun activities. The classrooms and labs are well equipped with air conditioners.
