Well Educated faculties and a ragging free environment

After my WBJEE results, I had opted for counseling and I opted just for this college and it was allotted to me in the first round. There was nothing as minimum marks criteria but yes, the 12th results should be passed(nothing required as minimum marks) and passing marks in 10th English too. After the results of the counselling, I just visited the college and got myself enrolled after verification of all the documents. The admission process was as simple as you can get.

The course is very well designed covering all the aspects and fields semester by semester. I was looking for CS from the very beginning and I finally landed here. There is a mentor assigned for 20 students each. All the teachers are minimum an M.Tech degree holder and some have completed their PhDs too. The college consists of a handful of GATE-qualified teachers also. They explain the concept very well as needed. We can ask each and every doubt personally whenever we want even through phone calls or WhatsApp. The term exams usually take place in June and December and there are 2-3 days gaps between the two exams. The final semester exams contain a paper of 70 marks with a combination of theoretical and multiple choice questions. If you prepare well enough, It's guaranteed to score marks over 9 SGPA. There is no rocket science in the question paper.

Our institute has combined AICTE EduSkills for Internships and there is plenty on offer. Internships on cybersecurity, cloud computing, ethical hacking, sde intern, and many more according to one's choice and preferences.

The placement has been very god over the years. Many companies visit the campus every year with the top recruiters being TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, INFOSYS, COCA-COLA, BYJUS and EXTRAMARKS.In the CS department, Out of 180, 177 got placed this year with the campus placements still going on. Unlike many colleges, here it is allowed to sit for as many comapnies as you wish. You can sit in campus placements as soon as you get into your 3rd year. The average package is around 4.7LPA with lowest being 2.5LPA and highest offered till date being 18LPA. Currently I have plans to initially get into TCS around 10LPA and if not then upskilling myself and going on for off campus placements. If you have the skills then nothing can stop you from getting 60+ LPA or even more depending on the company and post and requirements.

The fee structure has been the same for the last 8 years or so not even a penny has been hiked. The charge per semester is Rs 44000 and it is very much affordable. We can also pay the fees through government loans or bank loans. The college doesn't has its any own scholarship policy but if we get it from any other organization or something like that, it is accepted without an restrictions.

Life at this campus is very amazing. There are fests organized by different students club of the college in different months. We have clubs for coders, enterpreneurs, sports clubs, social working clubs(National Service Scheme) and such and such. These clubs keep on organizing different functions and activities time to time which involves the engagement of the students and it is a lot of fun. Sporting events also take place from time to time like basketball, volleyball, cricket, badminton and football. Apart from these, athletics event are also held quarterly. There is a big playground in which students gather in the morning and evening and play or walk or sit and talk..according to their likes. We also have separate basketball, volleyball, and badminton courts. There is a big central library in the campus with amazing infrastructure and facilities. It has over 5000 books,journals and magazines combined.

The general hostel has a two-seaters room with enough bathroom and toilet facilities on each floor. But you can also opt for single rooms with attached bathrooms paying 5000 more per semester. The general hostel fee is Rs 27000 per semester. The food provided here is very healthy and hygienic with great taste. It's completely vegetarian which even makes it better. The mess area is also clean with a very clean and pure water facility.
