VITEEE is the entrance exam that you have to appear for in order to get admission to VIT University.

There are a huge number of courses to choose from. Apart from the great theoretical and practical teaching of the core courses, there is a huge number of elective courses to study. The faculties are great and teach with great zeal. There are practical classes for electives as well if required. The course plan includes all the necessary lessons and experiments.

Well yes, they do provide internships but the vacancies are very few. So students have to interview for it and get through.

There is 100% placement on the campus. With a very huge number of companies coming to the campus from which one can choose to work with any of them but only after meeting certain cut-off marks. The companies such as Qualcomm, L&T, Cisco, etc are some of the Super dream companies which come for placements with packaged as high as 24 lacks per annum.

There are two major events in college. The first one being the technical fest at the beginning of the new session and a cultural fest in march. Other festivals are also celebrated and there are events such as MUN, sports tournaments also. Both the technical as well as the cultural fests get participants from outside the college and there are great crowd and celebrities invited which put up a great show.

The fee structure is feasible with an average fee of around 2.75 lacks. This fee depends upon the choice of mess and room. Whether it's A/C or Non A/C and on the mess i.e if it's veg non-veg or special mess. The academic fee being around 2 lacks and the rest is the mess and hostel charges. The gym is included in the hostel fee but the laundry services need to be paid separately.

There is a scholarship for students who get higher ranks in the VITEEE. All the scholarship details are mentioned in the brochure provided with the admission form.

There are proper exams held after regular time. The continuous assessment tests 1&2 are conducted within 40 days of the beginning of the semester whereas the CAT-2 are conducted after 30 days of CAT-1 and then lab midterms and term-end. The Theory Final Assessment test is conducted at the end of the semester.

There was a result published online after the VITEEE which gave us a rank. Now according to this rank, we get to choose the stream we want. The admission procedure was simple as no much paperwork needs to be done. Only you pay the fee and submit your documents.

The faculties are very highly qualified with most of them with good experience. Some of them even have field experience so they can really tell you what do we have to do in the field and get a clear picture amongst the students of the real-life scenarios.
