Fees and Financial Aid:

In VIT there is the system of yearly fees of everything hostel and academic fees, So i paid approximately 3.5lakhs for the first year of my college in B.Tech Civil Engineering which has 1.76lakh of academic fees which comes under category-1 and Hostel fees of apporximately 1.8lakhs for 1st year . In VIT every year hostel are changed according to your grades in prevoius semester. In 1.76lakh of academic fees 3000 is the caution fees and 1.73lakh of academic fees which include lab fees, development fees and etc. my batchmates almost everyone has the same academic fees it just differ due to different hostel's some have 2-bed room, some have 3-bed room and some have 4-bed room. If you want a scholarship in VIT, if you are state board topper you will get 100% scholarship, if your rank is between 1-50 you will get a scholarship of about 75% ,if your rank is between 51-100 you will get 50% scholarship and if your rank is between 101-1000 you will get 25% scholarship in tution fees .

I paid 175000 year wise as my tuition fees. Caution fees was 15000 Then based on your VITEEE exam rank, you will be categorized into 5 or more categories. Least exam fees are for the first category. As your category number increases, your fees also increases. Further details will be available clearly on the university website.

The Fee structure in Vit differs to one another by the ranks obtained from the students in their VITEEE entrance exam. Vit offer scholorships to its students. Stipends for the branch toppers,etc.It also provide free education for the Tamil Nadu govt school toppers. Fee here is bit high but it is worth to pay.

After we take the VITEEE exam our rank will be there. After the rank, we can choose the branch and then the fee structure will be there. There is two group for the BTech student A and B in that the fee structure is different and for B fee structure is different. We have to choose A or B after that our counseling is there then they can decide the fee for the year.

In b.tech INR 173000-194000 per annum for the group A and group. Every board topper gets a 100% scholarship and rank-wise scholarships also be there for students who get a good rank in entrance exam. Almost every student in campus gets jobs at the end.

Once you got admission there is no fee hike in tuition fee whereas, in the hostel fees, there will be a hike on a yearly basis of about 10-15%. If you are a rank holder then you will get a scholarship on the basis of your rank.
