Remarks
I had applied to this college because it was the 1st Bsc MRIT college in among the West Bengal and it's also a well reputed university. I just submitted my OBC cast certificate along with my other details. In case of admission criteria, students have to be obtained passed marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their Higher Secondary(10+2) exam. Students have to go through the university official websites then have to be in contact with specific persons whose numbers are given there and then they will guide them, rest of the procedure for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to do a job where I will work related to medical and technology and I found out this course suited for all of this. Totally there are 68 students in our batch along with some lateral entry students. All the teachers are very knowledgeable, well qualified and much helpful. Spoken English, Computer Classes, Soft Skills classes enhancing our qualities. Internal exams taken monthly along with weekly class tests and Semester final exams are conducted at the end of the semester, exams are moderately hard, pass marks is 40%, but easy to pass out.
Internships Opportunities
Various hospitals like Woodland, Rubby, Peerless, Apollo Gleneagles, GNRC, Medica Superspecialtiy are offering internships as a clinically observing and practising Rad-tech. Students participated in lots of making and writings projects and posters and all of we getting enjoyed it.
Placement Experience
Probably students from the final semester are eligible for the campus placement. Lots of reputed health industries and hospitals like Woodland, Rubby, Apollo has been tied up with our Universities. Our 1st batch is yet to be Graduated, but overall placements were 98% this year. I'm planning to do a job as a Radiology Technologies in a Hospital after completing my graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
In the pandemic they make the payment statement quite easy to pay, they decided to pay structure in half for each semester. Our course fees were around 2,50000. The scholarship is given by the university according to marks student gets in the 10th and 12th board exams. As we in 2nd year we are not applicable for the applying for the jobs.
Campus Life
We had an annual fest every year, a fest for newcomers "NabinbaronUtshab". Our own department celebrated department's establishing day, teachers day, International Radiology Day and many more, Classroom facilities with smart classroom, neet and clean floor, attached with laboratories, Presents of the library with lots of necessary books within the campus. Annual sports and gaming competitions are held. There are several clubs for extra curriculum in University.
