Remarks
VIT has been my dream college and i was pretty sure of getting into it. So once i got an admit into ViT i didn't bother about the other colleges i applied for. I availed an inst level quota to get in because i didn't appear for jee and my cet scores weren't upto the mark. The minimum criteria of age to pursue a BE degree is being 17-18 years of age. And having completed ssc and hsc from a recognized university.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose to get into extc because i have always been curious about electronics and their functionalities. The faculty-student ratio can anywhere be about 1:4 as per my knowledge. The proffs are very helpful and keen on new technologies. They're well qualified with a BE degree having better knowledge about engineering. The curriculum is very well-versed. About the exams, since the teaching faculty is amazing passing an assessment with good grades is a cake walk
Internships Opportunities
I haven't applied for any internships yet but VIT does provide internships....We have internship coordinators for every year who keeps us updated about the current internship opportunities.... It is always a great option to find internships from Internshala....
Placement Experience
Most of the students prefer campus placements to secure a job in case of any last moment change in career plans. It is always a safe option to have a job. Around 70% of students in VIT gets placed in their dream companies providing a package right from 3LPA to 12LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure i think is very much likely to how other colleges charge. They have benefits for students belonging to backward classes and more exposure for them. Scholarships are assessed on the basis of merit so there's no partiality towards anyone. I haven't had any campus placement yet. But im going to soon try for one.
Campus Life
The department has well-kept classrooms with wifi and AC. The clean aura just adds upto it. We have the biggest fest VERVE at VIT. It is actually so fun being a part of it. We do have certain student committees for the fest. The student council takes care of the management of any fests held. There is a wide scope for students to showcase their talent. Nothing is VIT goes in vain
