Good Average package till that time and have got good review from seniors about this college and hence i decided to go for it as my marks were not qualifying for good NITS , but even if u get NIT Jalandhar do choose it over Thapar as NIT still offers desent placements with less fees for the course
Course Curriculum Overview
Professors are good and have accomplished many research acheivements, their teaching methodology is also fine and some are bad and some awesome too. But many courses like related to other branches like Electronics, Civil and Mechanical are taught too to students even till the end of 2nd year which are of no use.
Placement Experience
A number of Placement companies come and many are very good too, but because of increase in number of students they often have to increase the CGPA cut offs to 8.0 CGPA and so and it may go higher and good coders miss the chance for good companies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees hike is huge for hostels, and normal for semesters as per their policy. Scholarships are granted on the basis of income, CGPA(after 1st sem), JEE Mains scores. Internship opportunities are good but as the students are huge in number they are not enough. Computer science seats have grown rapidly
Campus Life
Life at Campus is good, in nights couples are seen here and there from many years and library which is accessible 24x7 is huge and quite impressive when it comes to infrastructure and collection of books.Hostels are good which are newly built but Hostel-C which is very old is apple of the eye for many seniors as most memeories are made in first year only in four seater rooms and that are unforgettable and sweet to cherish
