Explore VIT through my eyes.

After my 12th exam when I was waiting for my result. I started my research for colleges in B.tech(CS) programme and not only I researched it online but also went to some my seniors so that i could get real feedbacks of colleges. The conclusion of all this research was that VIT bhopal was one of the best university for my programme as compared to others, it offered lot of specialization in my programme.It is the 15th best engineering college of India.After my 12th results were out, I was eligible to fill entrance form VITEEE(Eligibility for VITEEE is 10+2 with aggregate 60‰ in Mathematics/Biology, Physics, Chemistry for general category and 50% for SC/ST and North eastern states). I filled online application.Process of online application is: Register yourself on official website vit. ac. in Fill online application (Your personal details and 12th marks) Fee payment (online application fee is 1150 and offline is 1200).After you cracked Entrance exam you are qualified for counselling. You are able to attend the counseling for VIT Bhopal until your rank is below 125000.My rank in CSE VITEEE was 115000.Overall the admission process was smooth and satisfying.

I have always been interested in computers so I decided to choose this course from India's 15th best engineering college. Faculty of this college is really amazing it became great part of my life as it sharpened my skills be it in communication or in academics.Faculty is very friendly and students have easy access to them so everyone's queries are solved easily. There lectures are easy to understand and formative. Guest lectures are also being organized and it pushes every student to participate in discussion which helps them to groom there personality. There are 40-45 students in one batch and in total there are 4 batches like CSE 1,CSE 2,CSE 3, CSE 4 so in total ratio of students should be b/w 160-180.Main exams are taken at the end of semester but in between teachers take internals so that students can be ready for main exams. Practicals and assignments are give. Workshops are also being organized so that students can gain experience and certificates to make there resume look good and have knowledge for future.

Placements at VIT bhopal are high in record. Students are eligible for placements from there 7th semester which means from starting of there 4th year.The highest placement percentage of IT sectors is 35-40%. Last year my seniors got placed at well reputed companies with good packages.The highest annual package offered is INR 41.9 lpa and average is INR 7.25 lpa . Every year 550-695 companies visit for recruitment. Many leading companies visit VIT bhopal for placement drives such as Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Mitratech, HCL, Microsoft and many more. My plans after getting degree is get recruited by one of these reputed companies.

Total fees of all four years for my course B.tech(CSE) is 7.83000.Tution fees per annum - 1,98000.Caution Deposit which is refundable and one time payment - 3000For first year your total fees is 201,000 and for rest year it is 1,98000.VIT Bhopal offers various scholarships to deserving students on basis of their performance. There are some eligibility criteria for these scholarships: GV Merit scholarship-Topper of state or central Boards(100% tution fee off)Tmt.Rajeswari Ammal Merit Scholarship-Any district topper across the country will get 50% scholarship for all the years of the UG degree programme. If the district topper is a girl, she will get an additional 25% scholarship (making it 75% scholarship). VITEEE-Rank 1 to 50(75% tution fee off) VITEEE-Rank 51 to 100(50% tution fee off) VITEEE-Rank 101 to 1000(25% tution fee off) These scholarships are open for students of UG for courses BA, B.com, BBA, Bsc, Law. Internships are provided to few students as per which they are given opportunities to get International training and get good work experience. Students are allowed to do internships from third it can either be in 5th or 6th semester. Currently I joined paid four month internship of Android development with 15k stipend. Faculty member were very helpful when I started this internship. Placements records for CSE are very high in this university.

VIT Bhopal campus has great and wholesome campus life. The infrastructure of the Institute is quite impressive, spread over an area of 150 acres of land. It is the first campus to provide unlimited internet access with the latest wave technology. There are advanced classrooms, clubs and labs are equipped with Modern equipments, which helps students in obtaining both practical and theoretical knowledge of their studies. Hostel facilities are also great with good hygiene cleanliness and average taste of mess food. They offer rooms from single bedded to six bedded rooms. I allocated myself for single bedded room which charges with A/c 93,850 and non A/c 72000,Mess and other charges - A/c 67500 and Non A/c 67500,caution deposit are same for A/c and non A/c 10,000.Charges of outsourced services with A/c non A/c are same 22575.Total amount for A/c 1,93925 and non A/c 1,72075.This Institute offers many extracurricular activities. The university has a number of technical, societal, cultural and sports clubs which encourage students to explore and pursue their passions. I have participated in technical clubs which provide- Android club, Linux club, Robotics club, Virtual Reality and Gaming club, Software Development club, VITronix club, Electric vehicle club.
