Remarks
After I got done with my 12th standard, I wanted to pursue my BBA from Vels Institute university because of its reputation and it has been ranked at 50th South India?Ûªs Private Business School by Business World. My admission process was simple with marks of 10th and 12th standards were asked for followed by a round of interview that was held. The process was smooth and there was no major disruption in the form of admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teaching staff in the college is of top quality with number of journals and case studies are provided by them for the study material. There are internal exams conducted with subjects like marketing, international business, finance, Human Resource, supply chain are given proper focus on.
Placement Experience
After the 5th semester students can opt for placement opportunities in their respective field with the average package being at 5.5 lakh and highest obtained by one of my friend was at 16 lakh. There are companies like IBM, Amazon,Apollo Hospitals, TCS, Tech Mahindra, HCL, IBM, Amazon, Accenture offering pre-placement and placement opportunities to students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I had to pay around 2.07 lakh for three years which included the charges for examination, admission, tuition, library. The fee has to be paid after each semester with scholarships that are provided in the college are on the basis of merit and V-SAT score.
Campus Life
Exciting is the perfect way to describe the campus life with so many facilities that are provided by the college which consists of digital classrooms, seminar halls, library, sports facility. The institute provides both indoor and outdoor sports facility with the annual cultural fest is called Nakshatra, alumni meet and convocation takes place in the college itself.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is provided by the college with different blocks for boys and girls and the fee for 1 year was 1.5 lakh which included charges of accommodation, food, security. The food in the college tastes good with four meals are provided throughout. Hostel students get recreational room to chill, with facility of gymnasiums, indoor games.
