NIT Trichy is ranked as the topmost NIT in India. Also, it is constantly within top 10 in NIRF rankings. Placement opportunities are also excellent & a high percentage of students get placed in companies.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose ECE because its one of the most reputed branches (it is usually the 2nd preferred branch after CSE). On a general note, faculties are okayish. There are two cycle tests and an end semester exam in a semester. One can pass easily if he/she studies for a week before the end sems.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are as good as placement opportunities. Most of the companies offer good stipend. Internships are done in the summer vacation after 6th sem exams.
Placement Experience
The best thing about NIT Trichy is the excellent campus placement opportunities offered by the college. A lot of big MNCs visit NIT Trichy in various domains - software, electronics, mechanical, civil, analytics, management.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Tuition fee was 62500 per semester & hostel+mess charges were around 32000 per semester (for 2017-2021 batch). Campus placements are really good. Financial assistance is available based on family income.
Campus Life
Life in college is great. There are a lot of clubs that students can be a part of. The collection of books in the library is enormous. Classrooms for first year students even have ACs. There are fests like Festember, Aaveg, Pragyan.

Admission
Admission is solely based on JEE Mains rank. There is no group discussion or interview. One has to have a good rank (at least within 10000) for having a chance of admission.
