VNIT college review

Yes, I had applied to many colleges in Bangalore for my computer Science (CS) Course but my parents weren't allowing me to go out of the station, and then luckily I got VNIT. No I'm from open and hadn't availed quota. The minimum percentile for admission in this college is 96 percentile and for admission in Computer Science its 98.5 percentile. Yes there is an admission process, there are cap rounds after that there is an aptitude test and there are carrier counseling sessions and then you finally get admission in this college.

I personally think I good at coding / ethical hacking etc. and I prime interest in this subject therefore I selected it . There are 20-25 Students in a class a teachers , teachers here are highly experienced and have a deep knowledge about there subject. Some teachers are retired IITians , Some are Gold medalist . all teachers have qualified there NET, SET & PET Examination. Teachers take us to research labs , they help us in performing practicals some feild visits are also there . Weekly test , prerequisite are taken before semester examination.

Students got internships in companies like Lapcare , Boat , HP , etc post was volunteer . Many students got to learn new things. Experience was got and almost all students got internship in reputed companies and that the best thing of this collage .

Jee mains is the required exam cracked by the students. Companies like WIPRO, DELL, QUICK HEAL, Etc . are providing jobs and students are getting posts like chief executive engineer, HOD, etc. The highest package went to 38 Lacs, Lowest was 13 Lacs and the Average is 14.8 Lacs, mine Package is 17.8 lacs .100 % Placement since it's an NIT.

Every Year there is a hike of 12.5 % per annum. There are many scholarship programs with students whose annual income is less than 2lacs , besides this there is a scholarship program conducted by the government which is mahadbt . Yes during interenships and researchs , students are paid upto a stipend of 30k per annum.

Axis Vnit is conducted every year in the month of August. The books in the libraries are well - stocked , separate for junior and senior collage. Allmost all Classroom , Library , Canteen are installed with free Wi-Fi service , excellent furniture and Air Conditioners , there are inverters for backup as well . There is a specific period alloted for sport and fitness where students can play soccer , cricket , rubby , basketball , throwball etc. There are games like table - tennis etc. inside the campus.

The facilities provided by Hostel are an almirah, foldable study - table, mattress, cushion, chair, and a bed. The quality and quantity of food are excellent it's worth it food repeats after a long interval. There are special treats on Sundays and occasions. There is not a long process for registration only you have to submit your identity document and then they provide you with their id - card and you are all done.
