The information which I obtained from its official website about the university's infrastructure and environment impressed me. The university offers collaboration possibilities with foreign universities, which is why I chose it in the first place. Also, the fees were seemed very reasonable to me. At the time of our admission, we applied through an online application form and the final selection was made on the entrance exam score and merit basis.

This course seemed very much relevant for this dynamic industry and the practical scenario of the business environment. These things fascinated me to choose this course. It is a full-time three years course and it comprises six semesters. We read different subjects related to commerce and management; out of which, Business Economics, Business accounting, and management accounting were the names of some of my favourite subjects. During the course, we had the opportunity to learn from a team of faculty members who were brilliant and extremely supportive.

The placement cell at our university actively organized several workshops and job-related training programs. All final-year students were allowed to take part in the placement program. I did not participate in the campus placement as I had a plan to pursue an MBA course after completing graduation. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Genova, Genpact, Nestle were the prominent recruiters in the campus recruitment drive.

Along with the hostel fee and exam fee, I paid an annual fee of Rs.20,000. Though I had not applied for any financial assistance or and scholarship scheme there were some schemes available for us. The Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship, UGC-approved, and government of Gujarat-approved scholarships were among the scholarships my friends have applied for. The university has a placement cell that offers placement assistance to us. I chose not to participate in the campus recruitment drive since I wished to pursue MBA.

It had been helpful to have access to a central library and a digital library when I required different opinions during my self-study. We were encouraged to participate in recreational activities like dance, art, drama, sports, and so on. So, I took membership in the music club and participated in several cultural activities. After classes, we used to relax at the cafeteria and play badminton to rejuvenate ourselves.
